There is an extra http:// that you need to remove to see it. I've attached the URL to the working pic. Hobbit was voted the Renderosity Artist of the Year for 2001 so he is understandably a master at this.

D'oh Kiera! You beat me to the punch! :)

Hobbit earned the award. He's very good at it and works hard.

OMG... ok, I'm still pretty new here, and I'm ashamed to say that I had never heard of hobbit or seen any of his work. So after seeing this incredible image, I just had to check out his gallery. My jaw hit the floor. Just when I'm starting to think that I might actually be getting the hang of this Bryce thing, I see work like this which makes me realize just how much I have yet to learn. Thank you, airflamesred, for bringing this to my attention and totally ruining my day. ;o)

FWT, I think we have to learn how to swim before we try to learn how to fly. You're doing very well. This artwork by Hobbit far surpasses anything I will be able to do in the forseeable future . . . but I can dream - TJ

Well I refuse to post anything else until I get as good as that. I mean, hell, I've got a wacom tablet and photoshop.... wait a minute, what am I saying??? That would mean you fine folks would never hear from me again. :o) We can't have that. Actually what it HAS done is given me quite a few ideas to improve the quality of my stuff. I think that hobbit's gallery is the perfect answer to the earlier thread regarding the pros and cons of post-work. The end result DOES justify the means... it's the art that is the most important and not the tools. And I, personally, think way he posts to the multi-media gallery if his use of poser or photoshop is enough to warrant it is something that everyone should consider (i.e. the poser scenes simply rendered in bryce). of course, this is just my opinion. your actual mileage may vary. consult local listings. at any rate, that's what I like about this place, and why I keep coming back. I can learn so much about bryce, and other programs, and art, and myself in general, just from a simple "look at this picture" thread.

Hobbit has a web site. Just follow the above link.

Since he's been doing this since '98, I won't be depressed at my own lack of skill. Just shows what you can do if you work hard at something. Lin
