It happens to me once in a while... I am in the habbit of saving before rendering.... I think it come down to a file sharing problem.... some how related to number of frames and frame rates. I think that depending upon the number of frames and how your machine might be buffering or cache writing, the file is not closed when the player tries to open it.
I almost always render movies as a series of images. If there's a problem, you can just begin again at that point, instead of starting over. Also can archive the images and go back and use them for another format, size, compression level, or other uses. If you've got QuickTimePro (a good deal at $29) you can assemble the sequence of stills into a movie in a snap. HTH - Elisa/gryffnn

Has anyone else had this happen? Poser 4 (Mac) freezes after I make movie. It will make the movie and the new quicktime file will appear but I can't close it without freezing my whole computer. I'm on a Powerbook 400MHz, 512 RAM. Thanks, Rob
