I finally got the texture lined up, and I played around with the morphs in the face room, but couldn't get my morphs to apply to the face. What do I need to do ? The face in here is just done with the dial settings.

Can't help you with the dials, but it looks really good.

After you get it shaped the way you like in the Face Room, click the "Apply to Figure" button to give the currently selected figure the head you created. You'll have to save the figure in a PZ3 file in order to keep the face. Alternatively, you can spawn a morph target from the head, then save the character to the Library.

I played a little with that this morning, hard to line up the map though, don't know what I am doing wrong, you know those little green dots, can you add more of them to make it more percise and can you stop the rest of the outline from moving when you are lining things up? Sharen

Great picture too Sallie....really nice, who is that? Sharen

pokeydots ( ) posted Wed, 11 September 2002 at 8:13 AM

Sharen the texture is my sons face,on Don, the shape is just random and tweaking of the dials :)

So, what do you think about my question about the little green dots...Sharen PS; I thought it was your son, nice eyes....

pokeydots ( ) posted Wed, 11 September 2002 at 8:30 AM

Sharen I don't know about the dots, and it would be nice if you could add more. maybe someone will tell us if ya can add more or not. Try looking at the 3D pic when your moving the dots around, thats what someone just told me this morning. I'm going to give it a try :)

Looks great Sallie. Nice work. Can't wait to get mine. I don't think you can create more dots. Hey! I first worked with clouds a long time ago in an app. called Morph. Wonder if that's still around? Regards all, Q

Is there any way to get a body texture that will match the face? Just curious since I don't have my copy yet, but have been wondering all along how that is going to work, matching face to body. Looks good Sharen. Marque

wdupre ( ) posted Wed, 11 September 2002 at 11:16 AM

as to the body texture matching the face you'll probably have to export the face map and use the colors from that to make the bdy tex the old way.

Wow ! Looks great. Seriously concidering P5 now.

timoteo1 ( ) posted Wed, 11 September 2002 at 7:11 PM

Same here, Sharon. The controls (or lack thereof) to align the shape with the texture are frustrating to say the least. What were they thinking?? Yes, it needs the ability to add more dots AND to move the entire shape with a "hand" tool. I don't see how you can get realistic results with this room as it is now. :(
