Has anyone got their hands on P5 in blighty yet? I am guessing not, but was wondering what potential delivery date you received? I have just ordered it a few minutes ago, and it said possible delivery date Monday the 16th!!! that seems quite quick, and I wanted to know if this was false hope or if I should get excited? I was expecting to wait at least 10 working days! Steve :o)

The delivery date quoted on orders for the CL website seems to be a script that adds a couple of days to the current order date (mine still says August 28th). The most recent press release stated that deliveries will ship on or before Sept 15th (which is Sunday, so maybe that implies 13th), but there has been some mention that stock is still in transit to the Ireland offices. Of course whether the first batch is going to cover all those who have pre-ordered over the last three weeks is another question. Bill

I was told by CL that Poser 5 should start arriving in Europe around the 15th September. However, they have also said elsewhere that the couriers, "Airbourne", I believe, don't deliver Saturday or Sunday. So, it's either Friday or early next week. Presumably the orders will be shipped on a "first come, first served" basis. The reason for the difference between the realisation of American shipments and European shipments was given as "an extra delay in getting product to our European distribution facility and then to you". I don't know anyone in Europe who even has a tracking number yet, so presumably the shipment has not yet arrived in Ireland. The reason for a simple bulk shipment by air (I would hope) across the Atlantic taking 5 days or more, I don't know. Usually even bulk shipments can be achieved within 24 to 48 hours. Perhaps the shipment has been given low priority due to ecconomy shipping rates. Personally, I would have been happy to pay the extra 20 - 30 euros that would have been necessary to get the package delivered by a reliable and speedy service like FedEx (24 -48 hours, door to door). Unfortunately, CL didn't make that service available. Judging from the rate of progress so far, I would estimate that the first packages will arrive mid next week. If you have only just made an order you might be looking at a 2 to 3 week wait. Sorry, to be the bearer of bad tidings. Still, we live in hope, CL may yet pull a rabbit out of the hat!

As far as I know delivery in Ireland will be by DHL, but I may be remembering that wrongly from my conversation with the Dublin office a few days ago.
I am not sure that Airbourne operate in Ireland or even in Europe. They or CL could easily have sub-contracted the deliveries to DHL and others in Europe. Since none of us have tracking numbers we don't know who is doing the delivery in Europe. (I am only six miles from the CL Dublin office - so near yet so far!).
I have also noticed I am smoking more since I pre-ordered P5. The damm waiting! ;0)

I also got a delivery date of Aug 28th (from CL UK), which, of course, I didn't believe for a minute. Sounded like the purest optimism mixed with a hefty dash of BS on their part. mac

Well, I preordered from France, the Curious labs ordering status still says "processing" though the expected delivery date says 9th of september. I guess I won't have my Poser5 copy for next week end. Sooo sad.

I'm in the U.S. and I'm still waiting. I was told mine shipped on Monday and with Second-Day Air I was supposed to get it today. My email from them said U.K. orders "would start showing up on doorsteps on September 15th." I know they're working hard to get everyone's order out and probably didn't expect to be bombarded with so many orders. Next time I'll wait for it to hit the store shelves. This is a pain in the butt.

I seem to remember CL telling me that DHL will be doing the delivery here in Europe. I could be wrong though :)

yep DHL are pretty good too, I've had dealings with them at work, just be thankful they didn't want to use parcelforce, or we'd never see poser5.

With you there Rob, or if you did get it it would be all squashed up into something like Ernyoka's morphing box with all the parameters at max.

one thing I found out from Trevor in CL Ireland (very nice man), the money for our orders in UK will not be taken till the day poser5 ships out, basically I still haven't paid for it & the money has been in my account for over a month waiting to wing it's way to the CL bank account.
