OMG Star! Thats bloody awful, you have lost it all. Have you no prints of your work? Is this a lesson for us all? Or are we all going to have to learn the hard way? Im not backed up, keep thinking of all the hassle of doing it, but maybe I might just go get it sorted, soon.

Thanks for the sympathies, guys. I actually make it a habit to back my files up to cd at least once every 3 to 4 weeks. It's just that I have around 1gb of data (freehand vector files and psds) that I've been working on for two weeks now that I need to (and am supposed to) submit tomorrow. As for photos, I'm all film. So I'm safe in that department. In the next few days I will begin the gruelling task of rebuilding all that lost work... :-P (*
Hey Star!!! Sorry to hear about your computer problems...Hope ya get all the stuff you need back!!!! Believe my I can relate...that why I just did a backup of all my PIX this weekend...around 8 CDs full. One thing that makes it less of a chore is the 16X cd burner I recently installed... does a complete cd in about 4 minutes! My old 2x burner took almost an hour for 1 cd! (UGH)! L8r!
Geez Jovan your luck just has to change soonest! Good to hear you have a lot of stuff backed up but still really tough news : (

Sorry for going AWOL (sorry, sorry, sorry, Alpha & Mich!), I still haven't recovered from The Blue Screen of Death. My HD is dead and unrecoverable, I'm currently running on a very small spare HD I had kept for the longest time for posterity reasons. :-( Only programs I have right now (other than those bundled with my OS) are PS7, IE4 (I'm currently updating), my printer and scanner software. PATHETIC. And sad. :-( Oh, well. Obladi, obladah, life goes on...! Hope everyone is okay. :-) (*
