"What 3D Program Should I buy?" Not one person here can really tell you what's best for you, as everyone has their own taste in workflow. Try the demo or learning edition of the program you're interested in, this is the only way to find out which programs you like.

I take it you mean something along the lines like this?... One of the best 'broken egg' scenes I've seen. First thing is of course, made the basic egg shape out of a sphere, and then copy, reduce a slight bit, then booleen out the copy, so you have a hollow egg to work with. Now, depending on the application you're working with. You may have to create another object, and use that to seperate the broken part. Or, you may be able to select the verticies and then just 'cut' them apart.The doctor says I have way too much blood in my caffeine system.
