3 points for Pmoores. It was love at first sight with this one. Beautyful composition and use of colors. Great spaceship design. 2 points for ICMGraphics. Again nice composition an colors. Beautyful creature at the foreground makes a good depth of field. 1 point for FWTempest. Point of view gives a great look at the beautyful terrains. Nice composition and color use. Thanks to all for sharing their dreams with us. Willem and Madeleine
This is really hard. But here goes: Vasquez - 3 Alleycat169 - 2 Tuttle - 1 Here's why: Vasquez's is funny, that's for sure, but what appeals to me most is the gesture. I mean, look at that guy! I can really get into his mood. He knows he's in trouble and he wants to go back, but he's not returning for whatever reason. And the retro appeal is great. I really like this pic and I think the cartoony style helps the feeling and the gesture behind it all. Alleycat's just appeals to me. It stood out from the get-go. I like the composition, I like the color. I think the shadow from the ship is a little distracting though, but all in all, it's a very strong piece and I think the lens flares are refreshing because they're not in overpowering like they typically are. Pidjy's is familiar somehow. I'd swear I've seen that character before, but despite the cold character, the feel of the image is nice and warm. I like the idea that what appears to be machine is appreciating a simple, organic flower form. And I like that she's away from her companion to do it. Maybe her companion wouldn't understand, maybe she's putting it back, I don't know. It's a serene image, and it keeps me wondering about what she's doing with the flower form, why she's ventured off, and why she's on Planet X in the first place. Nice work one and all! There are a bunch of others that I was thinking strongly considering and I regret that I can only pick three. Again, great to see the variety and thought in this challenge!
I reduced it to 15 choices, then had to open up 15 windows so I could look back and forth between all the full size pics. I think all of the 15 have been voted in by someone, but here is my final choice: Vasquez 3 very clever idea, well executed and it made me laugh czii 2 I really think you captured the feeling of falling and the guy's expression is well done Bikermouse 1 I liked the mood in this picture - you put in a long day exploring, and when you get there, it's time to leave Well done everyone. With 45 entries for the monthly challenge, I really think a guru challenge will need categories. Lin

Oh Man!!! Once again I gotta pick only three? Well, Here goes. 3 Vasquez - For going all bryce, When the going got tough I reached for the Rhino instead of learning the tool. Excellent composition and the eyes give it quite an unknown X-ey feeling. 2 Dan Whiteside - I wish I could have made my distance objects in Marvin fade like that. Very effective, also very alien looking . 1 FWTempest - Layers and layers of fog, Nice depth in the water, great angle. Ask me again in five minutes and I'll pick three different ones. Great work everyone!
Rochr - 3 FWTempest - 2 RJ001 - 1 Good stuff, thanks for posting all these great images! I really do feel that Rochr's image has a great atmosphere and feel to it, it really tells a story by itself and makes my own entry seem pathetic! I think I need to work on telling a story better in my images, and move away from just being technical with my mats and the terrains...
Dan Whiteside=3 Stephen Ray=2 Alleycat169=1 Great challenge this month!
This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Each month I'm jazzed at how many more entries we are recieving for the Monthly Challenge...again this month we have a new record with 45 entries! Take the link, look at the entries, come back here to this thread and place your votes. As always, the voting goes like this member 1 = 3 points (your favorite) member 2 = 2 points (your 2nd favorite) member 3 = 1 point (your 3rd favorite) Each full sized entry pic has it's own little page now, click on the first one and you will see the self explainatory "Back-Thumbs-Next" buttons. This way you don't have to keep clicking back on your browser bar to keep going back to the thumbnail page(unless you want to) I am STILL wrestling with the webpages, Renderosity didn't like my new pages at all, and I am doing small fixes. So, you might see the background and buttons vanish at some point, but I'm working right now to get them put back on all 45 pages...the blank placeholders for the buttons will still work, if not, use the thumbnail page for navigation. I will have it fixed tonight at some point... Thanks and best of luck!!! AgentSmithContact Me | Gallery | Freestuff | IMDB Credits | Personal Site
