Thats why you should take your time to work on it. - All submitted images will be uploaded by me with just a number by side the image, without the name of the artist. Also the artist will stay anonymous until the votes are closed. I will then change all the numbers for the names of the creator of the image:-). This means that you cannot show your image somewhere else until the votes are closed, otherwise it cannot be accepted. I choose to do so to give an equal chance to all of you. - You have to send your submission to me by e-mail to: gebe@renderosity.com Your image must be 800x600 or smaller and not more then 190 kb big. Bigger images are not accepted. Please send also a thumbnail not bigger then 180 wide and 135 heigh, 15 KB maximum. Your images must be in JPG format. Challenge starts today, September 27 and will be closed on October 27, 3:00 a.m. NY time (9:00 a.m. Paris time). The reason for this is, that our second Vue contest will close just after and I need the time to manage all together beside my usual work. Good luck to all and have fun. Guitta

Can I use an animation instead? I'm probability(yeah i know, stupid word) going to use the next month rendering it. I used 4 days to render a test version, and vue messed that up, pretty bad. Anyway... Gebe, I already know that the answer is no ;)

Little postwork is allowed, as far as the image is recogniced as an image really made in Vue:-)

Just for clarification... should all objects in the pic be made in Vue and not imported from something like Poser?

Please read the rules. Imported objests are permitted, but no figures in any form.

Just making sure and wondering why there are two images in the Challenge with figures in them then if that's true.

I think there is a mix up between October Challenge and October Contest. :)

LOL I think we don't speak about the same thing. The Vue challenge happens every month. I'm sorry because I made a confusion. Where is my head? In the October challenge you can put as many figures and Poser objects you want. The theme is "deep forest". Where you cannot put any figures is the October CONTEST. That's not the same and doesn't happen here but at the link above. There you cannot see any image for the moment. And THERE figures are not permitted. :-)Guitta
