Ok I was told that I can make things such as swords and stuff glow by using photoshop, something about using an alpha chanel but exactly how do I do that? Iknow how to render in bryce as a mask but how do I apply it and select it in photoshope and all the rest Im getting very frustrated! nothing I do comes out like want please someone explain to me how to do this right or point me in the direction of a tutorial:) I would like for the sword that I want to glow to cast some light on the surounding objects. btw- I posted this in the photoshop forum also pleeeeaase heeelp! thanks

Casting light on surrounding objects you need to do in Bryce when you render... Use some low-intensity lights (colored) on each side of the sword... As for glowing effects, in photoshop.. load the main image and the mask image. Select the entire mask image and copy. On the main image, go to the channels tab and add new channel, choose alpha channel as type. Switch to the alpha channel and paste the mask render. Then select the masked part, flip to the rgb channel, and apply the glow filter (I use Eye Candy, don't know if there are other good ones..) Don't know of any tutorials for this out there.. probably are, but if you'd like I could try to make one myself, though it'll probably take a few days... Hope this helps, Rosh
