Hey guys, check it out. Just goofing with the Hydra and its textures in P5.

Fully rendered in Poser 5. No post work.
Ground is default ground plane with one magnet for the hill. Added procedural displacement textures, and also added some procedural displacements to the Hydra skin.
Background is another combination of procedural textures.

Looks really cool. the ground is like the mossy kind of boggy place a hydra might live too and the background also. Cool.

How'd you even get it to render in P5? I get the dreaded "Left Forearm" error and my W2K system locks up when I try to apply the MAT texture.

Yes, but I've been hesitant to install it, especially now that CL reportedly is coming out with SP 2 next week. Does the first patch solve this problem? Does anyone know if the second patch will negate the need to install the first one (i.e., wiil all of the fixes in the first patch be included in the second one)?

Wej, great image!

Yes terry the patch solves the left forearm problem. I don't know about the mats, those worked fine for me before and after the patch.
