Subject: Does DAZ still exist ?

I've ordered the Olympian Conforming Clothing for Victoria and Michael from DAZ.

My credit card has been debited, but I have not been able to download my purchase.
Two E-mails to DAZ have received no response.

Is there something I do not know ?

This is strange if it's true, because DAZ has never ignored my e-mails, not even the ones that simply said "thanks for the free stuff." Responses have always been within 24 hours (on business days.) Of course they still exist. They've has some server issues recently, but if you work with them you'll get your stuff. Try logging in and checking your account page. I believe you're allowed to DL purchases up to three times. If worse comes to worse, all you'll have to do is send them a copy of your credit charges, and they'll come through, although I doubt you'll have that much hassle. Good luck.

I'm waiting for a response to an e-mail for a few days too, although I was able to download stuff yesterday.

try again, due to their new big change they are probably flooded with orders and the server maxed out, i'm gonna wait a few days till chaos dies down best of luck

If you log back in it should bring up your recent orders, then you can download from there.

In my experience, for what it's worth, the DAZ store is creaky but honest, and their customer service has always resolved all problems in a more than satisfactory manner in the end. This said, once you get your product BACK IT UP. My product history page with them got completely hashed this summer, many entries missing and those remaining a mess of duplicates of each other. Back up the zip files of everything, label them clearly, and put them on a shelf.

Their customer service is usually stellar - but they just launched the platinum club, so their probably swamped right now. Give 'em a day or two to get back to you.

I recieved a notice from Daz last night. They told me that there was a mix up on one of my orders. They gave me a new D/L. I didn't even know myself, I didn't have it loaded yet. Daz really looks after their costomers. Tashar 59

I agree, give it a day. If you don't receive a reply, give them a call - the telephone is your friend (unless it's an international call though). I have always received excellent support from them.

Something I bought last night (for 1.99 woooooooooieeee) popped a 404 on the download. I just went to my Account page and got it from there.

I had a problem with my card validation once, just after I moved house. I had to phone them - twice(from the UK, too!) - before it was dealt with. However, they were ultimately very helpful, and barring that one incident, they have a perfect record with me.

Thanx everyone, I'll wait a bit longer for a reply if they are overloaded. I live in South Africa so a phone call is a last resort. My accounts page shows no downloads available for that order. I have had good service in the past. Something similar happened once before and they did send me a new download URL.
