In the breezy halls of Seasons Central, it is once again "all change". As Summer returns from his three scorching months on Earth, Autumn gives him a hi-5 and heads out the door. Winter looks on, tapping her foot with impatience, and Spring resigns herself to a long wait. Hope you like.

I like this very much. Very cool idea! What an imagination you have.

That's really cool, great concept. Are those inspirational or purely recreational drugs?

Thanks for the feedback, all. ICMgraphics - I have some Absinthe in the cupboard for emergencies, but I haven't used it yet! ;)

Lovely image tuttle, but, Where's the ducks. Quack, Quack ;}

Damn, I forgot the duck! I knew there was something... :>=

What a brilliant idea! Love the body textures, and the angle - it really works for me. I'm impressed (and a bit envious!). I like ducks, too - preferably with orange sauce!

Cheers! Glad y'all like it. Forgot to say thanks to Rochr for telling me how he makes his light rays in post without using the Bryce volumetrics.

"how he makes his light rays in post without using the Bryce volumetrics," How does he do that ?

tuttle ( ) posted Sat, 19 October 2002 at 11:38 AM

It's pretty easy, actually, I'd just never thought of it before (it only took about 2 mins to do the rays in this pic - faster than a volumetric render, me thinks!). Just draw a triangle using a graduated fill, blur it, rotate it, size it and make it transparent! And there you go!

The light rays do look terrific. You'd think the seasons would get chairs at least... Great idea, well executed. :) Lin
