Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 01 6:51 am)
Marque... What version? I've got Mediaplayer 8 and of course the divx codec, and it plays fine. Is there a newer version than 8.0? My XP tells me it's the newest version... But you'll have to install the DivX also. Mediaplayer has no built-in DivX support.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
The face looks nice. It opened up in quicktime for me. It has the speaker icon indicating that there is sound. But, I heard nothing as it played. One question about the first quarter of the clip...as her mouth opens to expose the teeth...as the mouth closes the teeth at the corners of the mouth jut out too far. Is this something that is easy to tweak so that the teeth don't do this? In all it looks very good.

Nice animation, but im not sure how Poser 5 has improved the graph editor . it appears to be the some graph editor from poser4 :-) Whats new here???? **-wolf359 founding member of "the 12 animators"-**wolf:I believe what is new if you try the dials is the easy access to the morphs parameters (sorry for the bad spelling) Nothing in the fonctions are really new more than the dials morphs access... Thanks everyone for your nice comments! petereed, yes I think I can easily change that...It was a test for a future animation setting. Phil did you got divx?? I hope you'll enjoy it...I use it all the time:)
Neftis, The total number of frames is probably not an issue. However, your resolution (640 x 585) actually has more pixels than digital video (720 x 480). That, combined with a frame rate set at 29.97 fps, may may it a little difficult for most to play smoothly on their computers. Computers don't like 29.97 - they prefer an even number like 30 fps. They'll try but will still occasionally glitch. Instead of making the movie shorter I'd recommend resizing it to a smaller dimension and changing the frame rate to an even 30 fps. If you do that, you can make it much longer and still get smooth playback. Techinical recommendations aside, it looks great. Mastery of the graph editor is critical to mecoming a good animator and it sure looks like you're getting the hang of it! BTW, Petereed, are you on a Mac? I am. I get the speaker/volume control on the left but the "graphic equalizer" display isn't there on the right. I checked the file info and it doesn't list an audio track. There is no soundtrack in the animation. Bobasaur (I was 7 of 12)

If you have any around, go back and view your first attempts at animation. Then come back to this. Then take a few moments to enjoy the fact that you've come so far! (Sometimes we get so focused on how far we have to go that we forget to enjoy how far we've come!)

hi again:) I really love the way we access the graph panels in p5! with the morphs control and reset...It really helped me to achieve a more realistic expression for my character. Of course you can surely do the same in poser 4 but the access is better in poser 5.(my personal opinion) You can view the results in this short anim...there is still some work to do tho...
