You will need more frames.
At 30 fps your action (of 15 frames) will take place in 1/2 second.
You can change the frame rate by clicking on the little down arrow ...
(next to the small fps window in the Animation Palette)
(or click on the fps number to change it)
... and selecting 15 fps.
Now your action will take place in 1 second.
Still too fast? .......... Do this...
Using the Animation Palette (or the Animation Controls), click on the "total frames number"
("Frame XXX of YYY")
(click on the "YYY" value and change it to 60 (or whatever else you want.
If you want the action to take place in 4 seconds (at 15 fps) you need a total of 60 frames (4x15=60).
After you have changed to total # of frames, you need to "retime" the animation.
Make sure that "Figure 1" (or whatever name it has) is selected (the "Body").
Now do this ...
[menu] "Animation" ---> "Retime Animation..."
Now in the "Retime Keys" window ...
change the destination frames value to 60 (or whatever value you want) and hit "OK".
It should look like this:
"Source frames: 1 to 15"
"Destination frames: 1 to 60"
Now play your movie and it will run 4 times slower.
If you use 30 fps and have a total of 60 frames, your movie will run 1/2 as fast or it will be "half-fast."
(sorry, couldn't pass that one up)

If you have more than 15 frames of action in your animation ...
... make sure you "Move" the remainder of your animation "over" to some empty cells ...
(after you add more frames to your movie)
... and BEFORE you "retime animation" or it will overwrite some (or all) of the remainder of your animation. (and you will lose it)
Hmmm??? Looks like maybe I should do a "Primer" on this one, also.

I posted this question in the animation section, but I didn't recieve a reply, perhaps someone here might help.I am learning animations, with poser, and have successfully posed a figure, which I want too fall down slowly to its knees from a standing position , turn away from the camera and fall flat on its back or side. What my problem is I want to slow the animation down. The first part falling to knees,is a a total of 15 frames at 30 frames per second. It falls too fast and is also jerky.I can't understand the Poser 5 book the way it is written. Can someone explain to me in plain terms so I can solve this problem. arrow1
