Subject: PPP glitch?

When I try to export a morph target from Poser Pro Pack and have the moprh target option checked in the last dialog box, that when I go to check the OBJ that was created, what I get is the base figure with no morphing. But when I export it and dont check that box I get the OBJ as it should be. Isnt there something wrong here? Also I cant seem to keep magnets "invisible" even though I have unchecked the visible box in the properties dialog box. Thanks, David

I think the "as morph target" prevents scaling, positioning, and rotating. It only allows applied morph targets to pass through. I'm not sure about magnets, as I don't use them much. You can leave the "as morph target" unchecked, as long as you make sure the figure hip and body positions are zeroed.

I understand the scaling stuff wont go thru. But I do have dials set for other morph targets and had even spawned one to make a combination one. When I went to export it with the dial set to 1.0, all I got was the standard Mike2 head with no morphs applied. I just dont get it. Dave

heyas; turn ON 'as morph taret' and turn OFF weld body part seams. 'as morph target' + 'weld body part seams' = with no world scaling, rotation, posing, AND no morphs applied. ie: create a base obj.

Interesting results for that combination, eh? Now what's the deal with magnet that just doesnt want to stay invisible after I tell it. I also seem to be getting duplicate magnets after I save as a compressed file as well. Thanks, David

heyas; yeah, that always gets people. as for the other things... bugs. there was a bit of discussion about the extra magnets on re-loading things... don't know if anybody ever came up with a good solution for that.

Only way around it I came up was decompressing the file thru WinRAR and then opening it in CR2Editor and delete the "extra" magnets. It's real pain. Would've thought they would have fixed that "bug" Dave

Best way to circumvent the magnet issue is to save your mags to the prop library instead of pz3. You can then just load them up next time you're in Poser.
