Why do I have the sudden urge to start singing old Culture Club songs?

"Not directed at you Cyberstretch.. Trust me :)" Ahhh, ok, Storm. For a minute, I thought I was back in time when I was mistaken for kupa because I quoted one of his posts without clarifying. lol What a "stretch" of the imagination that would be. ;0) I think the "Karma Chameleon" is going to fade into the background a bit and wait to see what blows over or blows up before rearing its head anytime soon.

Yay! Somebody that knew the song that is now stuck in my head. ::grumbles:: I hate having songs stuck in my head...

Argh! You are Evil. Yes, Evil with a capital E.

You should try reading what 99% of what the members and merchants have been saying. We're just trying to get some common sense across and instead we're seeing admins acting like children instead of responding to direct concerns.

It's like the children have taken over and the adults are trying to teach them to behave but they'd rather run around with their hands on their ears screaming 'nya, nya, nya'.

it is my sincerest wish is that everyone get exactly what they deserve I think Audre meant that in a good way, and not as a snide remark. Lets not bite each other instead of biting or rather chewing on the ones who really need it. goes off grumbling to yet another thread to see what is happening over there...

Mehndi: your comments in post #44 were uncalled for and unneccessary. You've comported yourself here in a forceful yet reasonably polite way so far in this situation, aiming your remarks at the site and administration in general. This is a difficult situation for all of us; members, merchants and staff alike and getting personal won't achieve anything. Kevin.

Mehndi ( ) posted Tue, 05 November 2002 at 2:17 PM

No more uncalled for than Audre's remarks which preceeded mine, nor her conduct toward Russell and myself in the past, and now, as well as the conduct of the admins of this site toward us, and the owners of this site towards us. They cannot expect us to have warm happy fuzzy feelings toward them after this. This goes both ways, their actions. They set out to see us as enemies and they just may make enemies where none existed before.

Just lending a hand here, I believe Kbennett meant post #41... And he is right, we should not make this a "personal" issue with individuals and keep it focused on the policy. Jack

kbennett ( ) posted Tue, 05 November 2002 at 3:03 PM

Jack, thanks. Maybe I should learn my numbers better ;) Mehndi, audre's comments were made as a general statement in relation to this whole issue. I didn't see anything that said Mehndi should get anything tenfold or bad. As for past issues, how does dragging them up help now? I'm not going to speak to the "... conduct of the admins of this site toward us, and the owners of this site towards us." since that's not what I'm about here. I'm simply asking you to keep the argument directed at principles, policies and the site, not individuals. Thanks, Kevin.

Kevin, It should go both ways and, unfortunately, it hasn't.
