:) YW! understandable and I'll be looking forward to it. I'd say I've been using poser for about 4 years, but boy do I wish they had zbrush back then, you can make morphs with any program, even TS, but Zbrush is the best morph tool I've ever come upon. It so much like modeling clay without the fuss and I'll don't feel bad at all about starting a over or have to buy more clay cause I don't want to G < ok end rant. But it wasn't that hard, nor is using magnets in poser, once you get into them, it just gets easier and easier. Magnets do have limits though, I've not been able to get fine details and some things you have to use so many magnets, I loose track; which is why I've had to look elsewhere. True Space is such a round about way of converting it back I had to give up on it. By the way in case you didn't know, Caligari is giving away TS3.2, a good tool to supplement Poser and Bryce: http://www.activeworlds.com/products/truespace.asp its like 20 mb so make sure you've the space for it, even if its just so you can archive it on cd. It'll be the TS All link you'll want. sign up, write down the number you'll need to use it (put in safe place), bookmark the download page (just in case) but under no circumstances link other poeple to it, cause unless they have a register # they can't use it. Download it. Jess

:) was the spot for morphs some time back, still is in a way. as you can see by the cd archive he had a lot up. Also any downloaded free victoria characters and use cr2 editor to copy over the morphs, usually there are no hitches with included morphs. Yup, will do. Jess

yup, its fine to send me the whole head, but not actualy neccessary I think. Since I can use Victorias head, make the chin morph and send it to you. And is it my imagination, or does she have a sort of dimple under her lip? Anything else besides the chin you see that you can't do with V1 morphs concidering any comments above? oh, and have you vistied Morph World? Traveler still has some morphs up to use on Victoria, might be some in the packs to help. http://www.morphworld30.com/index.html Jess

(he didn't spare his testers I bet!) I don't know if you used RD or poser for this, but I've had that problem too with the 'hair' maker in poser where it looks too even. I think there my be a way to make it create hair more randomly but I've not played with it enough, nor do I know RD at all, though we both have versions of it. I do know that you can control droopage and the up factor with the poser hair creator. The tail does rather seem to be work well with the thick fur, the rest could do with thinner strands, softer edges, variegation of lengths, and shorter fur on the legs and head. Very good point made that the fur would look more natural at an angle (which Dar agrees), the fur growing toward the back or down. On the lower part of the legs and tail it doesn't matter as much. This may only need to be slight, morphs, or just making the 'hair' softer with a transmap may do. With kittens it doesn't matter they are just fuzzy cat shapes. g Good first try, especially for a whole body figure, and there are areas with potential already, the tail and the front part of the face which look soft. If you notice, the edges do seem to be getting across even with poser's habit of rendering edges. I bet you expected a mouth full and considering I've never heard of anyone else attempting this and there is basically no groundwork nor examples for the mostly non professional community, there are really no grounds for complaint. The only fur I've seen not done by a company was on a donkey, and the fur being in its nose was most odd, the fur all round like those 'velvet' covered plastic horses. I bet also there is away around making calicos and such if someone figures out the mapping, it probly won't be absolutely accurate and as difficult as the post processing to paint, but once done it can always be relied on, unlike fickle memories, ability, and physical restraints. Thanx and wishing well Jess

LOL ya, well they gotta have somewher to live, and you seem to be enjoying them already. Now I got to trasfer those morphs onto it, hawk, parot, and raven. but the crest now...hmmm, think i got some feather props, but i might as well do some morphs as well and try and make some trans maps. And I'll be keeping an eye out for what you do with them ~:)

Much better than my attempt, should of thought of making it dark grey. Looks close to what is needed. And then comes the bump map, think adding noise then smearing them in the way horses hair would grow would work. Good Luck on This. It looks like a pony or a Mustang to me. Makes me think to redo my version of a white socked black horse. url to my textures: http://users.ev1.net/~riggsd/poser.html You'll have to follow it to Xoom, but it may change anytime, the ev1 link page will follow the new location when that comes. Tell me what you think please.
