Thanks for the feedback. The answer to all your questions CSpear is yes to all but the last. I will do that now. Wasn't even sure what to look for, so appreciate you pointing me in the right direction.
The program doesn't close. It just locks up. And, it appears to be an intermittent issue. For example, last night, I worked on it fine with no problems.
I'll take a look at the Nvidia card and see if I can get more stability.Â
thanks again all!
Thread: Pre-purchase Vue questions | Forum: Vue
Good questions. I would be interested in the answers to the latter questions. With regard to the former, I just got the download version, but I have no idea if I'm "missing" anything and there seem to be tutorials and enough stuff to help. There is also a Extra Content CD that you download when you buy the software. That seemed to have quite a bit as well.
Along the same lines, any particular expansions that are "must haves" for Vue 6 Esprit?

Thanks for the information. I have been saving my renders as PSD files and then then to jpegs when I upload them.Â
Once again Sam and Acadia come to my rescue ;)

I believe it does; however, I purchased the download version. I was too impatient to wait for it to be shipped to me and I don't have any stores locally that carry it.Â

Thanks for the advice. I cancelled my order at Kinkos when they told me it would take $500 to print the manual in color. Insane! I'll take your advice and pick up Revealed.
Thanks again

Good point Thelby!
Along these lines, I take it that Vue 6 is a better choice than Bryce 6 for working with Poser 7? With the sale, you can now get either for about $100.
Also, what is the price for Vue 6 Infinite? To be honest, the price table on the website for the Vue products is a bit confusing. Am I correct in reading the table that jumping from Vue Esprit to Vue Infinite is a jump of about $500?

As a complete aside with regard to Wolf's recommendation, Vue 6 Esprit is apparently on sale all next week for $99, so might be better to step up to Esprit rather than Easel if that is an approach you are planning on.Â

More cool stuff!
Thanks for the link Sam ... That is some amazing stuff. Pricier than most, but seems worth the expense.
Marauder looks very cool too Tyger. Â
Again ... decisions decisions.Â

Where is it on sale? Here on Renderosity or elsewhere? I will pick up a copy as well at that price.

Thanks for the all the help! This is more than enough informaiton for me to work with. In fact, Damn you all! Now I have too many choices!
Gagnonrich - I was thinking more like the armor in Final Fantasy - Spirits Within, rather than the more unisuit clothing ala Star Trek. But, my questions have been answered so I know where to go.
Sam - Xurge3d is exactly the type of armor I was looking for. Thanks for the link. Â
Thanks again!
Thread: Need Recommendations regarding Hair and Science Fiction Clothing | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Sorry for not being clear.
Any type of hair will do for the characters. I am particularly looking for hair for Apollo and Michael 3.
I meant science fiction clothing and armor for them.
It would be great if they were easy to use (Hair and clothing/armor) as I am still a beginner.

Poser 7
Victoria 4
Apollo Maximus
Andre for M3
Talus for Apollo Maximus
Milan for Victoria 4
As beginner, still trying to figure out how to use my other purchases, so far these have been the most novice-friendly and fun to play with.
