A .pz2 is an Poser file, Studio can read and use these files but anything saved will be saved in Studio format (.dsb)

I think every artist would love to exibit but... there comes the idea of .. how to be paid?? How does the artist know how many items are sold?? Printing and all that is a good idea... but not on a personal printer.. and then comes the cost of the professional printer.. who is going to absorbe the cost??.. Many, many questions.. details to be looked into.

The way I see it?? Someone comes here and says that they want to make money fron the program.. fine.. but doesnt a bit of research come into play here?? Lets face it.. Vue 4 and Poser ( put your edition here) are actually on the low end of the 3d scale, these programs are designed for the hobbiest ( although there are a few really talented artists out there) But for someone to come here and just BLAST these products.. well, it just screams novice to me and I for one will not enter into a debate about this. If you want to make money, then invest in the higher end products ie Maya, Rhino.. ect. But do not blast products that you have not explored in depth.. see statement about talented artists. who have explored the product. Just my opinion.

Thanks Karlm, I looked at your post and it did help alot :) I just cannot seem to get it right, it may be that it is already such a tight shot that I cannot really use the DOF anyway.I have adjusted the picture so that I am using some of the subjects to get the depth that I need. Thanks to all!

tesign,you can convert any terrian into the .obj format. I figured this out yesterday.. go to your terrian editor and create your terrian then simply export it in the .obj format. Just make sure you have a folder set up somwhere on your hard drive that you can put the terrian and the maps that go with it into, and make sure that the map is in .jpg format so you can apply the map in another program.

Ok,I tried all the suggestions here and Polax's seem to be the one that is working for now, I am using Vue 4.2 and I am working with Sam's Log Cabin, I do have a lot of trees because it is a snow scene and I am using Gebe's tutorial about putting snow on trees. I have hidden that layer and the mouse is working alot better. I think I had better go back to Gebe's site and follow her tutorial for placing alot of trees using alpha planes..(polygons are already in the red and I am nowhere close to being finished). I dont know about Vue 5 but I import figures from Daz into Vue 4 all the time, as long as you use the Bryce Turbo import tool it works just fine :).

Thank you Wabe! I did the suggested search and found just what I needed. I then created an alpha plane and played around with the coloring and Viola! I have the needed tracks. Thanks again!!
