Remember that for all you experts Poser Debut may seem "crippled" but for a new user, kid in your family interested in graphics, or even a user of Manga Studio or Anime Studio...it's the perfect powered version to get started and then there's always an upgrade path if you need more!

There were 2 lists to get serial related emails today - one that needed new serials due to a duplicate serial mistake, and one that didn't need to get the email but got it anyway with the serials they already had. I apologize for the confusion. If you received the 'oops' email, you were just reissued the serials you already had. If you ever have a concern about the legitimacy of something from Smith Micro, the best thing to do is contact us directly at cs@smithmicro.com. You will need to redeem your voucher and pay for shipping or optional download insurance tomorrow.  We did send out a set of instructions last week to people who ordered from content paradise and store.smithicro.com on how to redeem your voucher, including your code (also on your confirmation) and the specific link each customer should use to redeem and will resend that again at launch.   Make sure you have your subscriptions setting on and check your spam filters.  Contact customer service at Smith Micro if you have any specific questions - they will be in the office at 8am Pacific tomorrow to help everyone get redeemed before they expire September 30th.  Codes activate at 12:01 pacific.

Ha!  Good one Benjamin!  We (Smith Micro and CP) didn't post anything today, and if development has been canceled, someone should probably tell those engineers I saw with their heads down as I was leaving the building yesterday. ;-)   The web team did talk a lot about what kind of light hearted joke we could play, but I don't think we'd ever be brave enough to do something that would stir the pot THAT much. hehe!  No joke from us this year, but we're enjoying all the other clever ideas around the web!

Hi there - Poser Debut is not intended for customers who already own Poser 8 or Poser Pro 2010.  (In fact, if you own any version of Poser, we recommend you upgrade to those versions.)  This version is intended for those brand new to the concept of creating in 3d.  This was addressed by Steve Cooper in the Poser blog here: http://blog.smithmicro.com/2011/02/10/poser-3d/the-primer-on-poser-debut/.
