I'm still using 11 on a Mac that's too old for 13, but I'm curious about this: "Improvements to Comic Book Preview Draw Last feature". Can you say more? My impression had been that Comic Book Preview works in 12 and 13 pretty much as it does in 11.

I was assuming that since his art was used for the current contest, he’s still around. And I was thinking it’s info other people would appreciate too. But if he doesn’t reply in a day or two, I’ll take your suggestion. It’s certainly true people miss things in forums.

I can find it in the hierarchy editor, but when I select it and click "Create New Figure", it asks for a name, then does nothing, so far as I can tell.

Doc000 The problem is it renders in comics mode, which is my favorite. When I get back to making Poser art, I'm betting it'll prove to be a light. I'm not worried about it anymore.

Kerya, no worries! I only mentioned it because it struck me how careful someone was being with such ancient software. She also commented on what a shame it is that so many things that were meant to be free have been lost as technology changes and web sites disappear. In any case, this had a happy ending, or it will when I figure out what to do with the figure :)

The person who converted the PCF for me checked to see that I owned Poser first. The community tends to take these things seriously.

Thanks to all for the comments. The thing is an OBJ wrapped up as a PCF--apparently there were something like Poser Container Files before my time with poser. Someone on Windows is checking to see if she can convert it for me, so my fingers are crossed.
It's not for something I need. I just came across what looks like a nice low rez '30s biplane pilot that was offered for free, and now only exists on the internet archive. You can see it here if you're curious: https://web.archive.org/web/20190707030807/http://thierry.perrain.free.fr/Downloads.html
Curiously, the biplane that's available for him just has an OBJ file, so it opens fine.

I would love to be able to change the names of the libraries, and to add or delete them. The more I use Poser, the less I like the library's organization. I want everything associated with an item to be in the same folder so I don't have to navigate far.
I realize the library sections don't care what you put in them, so I've done a lot of reorganizing on my own. But I've found that different sections of the library have their own approach to whether you can add something to the scene or replace it.

That's one of the cameras.
Find out which one it is and move it out of the scene.

If I'm following you correctly, that may be where your problem is. I have a folder called Poser Official and another called Poser Content. Each one has a runtime within it. Using the plus symbol, I can load both into the library and select whichever I want. Anyway, that's the end of my very limited knowledge. Good luck!
