Rance, no changes to the location of resources - only other thing I did was install shaderspider. Estherau - I opened Poser then tried to open the files(s) in question; no joy!

Poser crashed b4 I could find out if the CR3 wanted to open; tried it with several other Poser 6 files created under SR1 and none of them will open.

Before we can help, we need to know how you were trying to do it...ie using a map, using the face room, creating your own morphs and texture?

Geep Does the same approach work in the following situation? If I place a background picture on a primitive square, to make it easier to manipulate, it often renders with horizontal black lines interspersed with a few rectangles. This only happens with firefly, not with Poser 4 renderer.

Ajax Thanks for your reply. I only work with stills so from what you wrote, seems it should be good for me. Is it worth getting the full version of Shader Spider, or just the LE?

Most of the time, switching off texture filtering solves the problem. I cannot understand why e-frontier cannot solve the texture filtering prob - it's pretty basic and has happened since P6 came out; it has not been addressed in either SR.

I get a variation of this. I create a primitive square and place the background image on it. It works fine with the P4 renderer but Firefly just creates huge pixellated shapes; I'm gonna look at vilian's suggestions, so thanks vil. DigitalDreamer

If SR2 did all that SamTherapy says it did , the use Texture Filtering prob must be fixed cos that would make one huge texture!
