So I'll still have friends after this, right ^^ ? Heh. Seriously...I didn't mean this. I guess I could try to salvage some work. I don't even know if I'm interested now though. I mean, it's not just the work....I feel terrible. I look like an ass now ^^ . Ugh....Umm....can I say I'm sorry again ^_^ ? Lol.

Alright. Hang on a second....I'm confused here. I'll try to explain so far, and hope that I haven't hurt my reputation too much. The texture that I posted pictures of is not entirely done all by me. There are a lot of modifications done by me, but as I said, it's done with pictures, pattern overlays in Photoshop and other things. Now, first of all, it seems that I have been had. In one of my previous posts, I stated that it would be very hard to create a texture from scratch, so I went to work with a new idea. I found some basic textures that were free to use for whatever purpose I desired. I made sure that these textures were free for use. My idea was to take some textures with only a little detail and add my own details from photos and then overlay a pattern in Photoshop to make it more realistic. I was going to work my way up. I had a problem though....I couldn't make it realistic enough. I was talking to a friend, and he told me that he had a few photo-realistic textures I could use. He sent me a folder full of them, and only a few were actually useable. He gave no readme.txt's or anything with them. For all I know, Stefyzz's texture could be in one of them. It appears that I used her texture as a base....I would never knowingly rip off someone's work. I have bought nothing from the online store, and only glanced at it. I was told that these textures were created by my 'friend' and could be used as long as I changed them and didn't use them as they were. There were no credits actually on the picture itself, so I had no idea that these were someone else's and not his. I apologize for this -_- . There's not much else I can say about this besides it's back to the drawing board....I apologize to all who might have been offended. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make things better. Once again, I apologize to everyone, especially Stefy.

I also have another question. I plan on doing a ton more work on this and several other versions of it. Hopefully I'll be able to do a good job on them ^_^ . I would love to put them in the market place, but the problem is is that the template is one of the Daz3d hi-res texture maps. Since I'm changing them so much, would I be able to sell them or would that still not be legal? Lol. It would be really hard to make my own photorealistic image.

One of the things that really threw me off, you said that you were using a flat cube with 10x10 segments...but in your picture, your actually using a 9x9, correct? Heh. And another thing. When I use the perspective view, my texture is on the wrong side. I mean, when I try to look at it from the front, it's all black, and then gray on the other side. What did I do wrong?

Yes, that did help some...but It's still very frustraiting. After I reread your previous posts, I figured out that you probally ment to just move it, since the only other tool that would so something like that was the bevel. But I still get the feeling that I'm doing it wrong, and moving the points around to get the shape of her face is hard. Ack. I'll try and tag along though :) After a few dozen tries I should have it down. Heh.

I'm new to lightwave 6.5, and I could really use this, but the tutorials I've found haven't quite taught me how to use all of the tools. It angers me when you say something as simple as 'Extrude the chin' and I can't even do that...I guess I might as well give up on lightwave and stick with poser 4 and bryce 5. Lol.

try double clicking on the body part you want to add the morph to, then click on the "add morph target" button. Go to where the morph target .obj is and then select it and it will add a new wheel for that body part to the right of the screen with whatever name you called it....I donno if I explained that as clear as possible, but there it is! I think...

Thread: exporting wavfront | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
err...........let me make clear my problem...the first post was a little vague. I have two creatures interacting with each other...they are actually touching....when I export both the forms as one wavfront object, then use the UV mapper and import it into bryce, the textures are messed up, so I tried to export them serperatly. When I do this, one of the resizes a little (I guess it being a different creature) and I need them the exact same size! can someone help me now :)?

I think the texture looks perfectly fine. It gives it a sort of "used" look...what are you using for in the picture? If you want a futurestic look, then I wouldnt use that texture...I would try to find a more shiney metal type texture. It all depends on what your going to have in the scene :)
