hmm, you're right, orange would look a little les comical... veritas, i just pasted riddokun's eyes on tope of the eyes in the original skin texture. and I understand animals have different eyes than humans, but I'm thinkin in comic purposes... it's like Osamu tezuka (creator of astro boy).... ALL his animals had human eyes and that gave them tons of more character and expressions (think of Kimba as well)... but of course, he mostly intended that with humour purposes. I'd use the DOAeyes on animals only if I ever need an animal to have human-like qualities (not that that's doing the poor animal any favor, heh). max

hey, sharen, does the mirror in your bathroom reflect naturally or was that done in postwork?? because I have your bathroom (I actually built a whole house just with your free roomS, I'll post the result later) and I didn't know that your could actually reflect stuff in the mirror. Max

hmm, just a friendly advice from a fellow poser-comic writer... maker? artist? I never know how to refer yourself when you're making comics using Poser... anyway. Please, try to slice the images... a single images takes TOO much time to load... as someone making comics, you want as many people as possible reading your work... then please make it more accessible to them... I'm indeed after a slow dial-up connection... I took a lot of chances to work in my comic and that meant being left with very little money, and I guess that there's a LOT of people who don't have dsl or cable... so, by slicing the images up you make the loading time way faster, because you can slice one images in ten little images which will load at the same time (almost). I know you're just learning html, but if you have photoshop or any other software like that (I would guess that the free paintshop prop software allowe slices as well), you should be fine. other than that, your comic is very funny and entertaining... but I have doubts about your option of making them available in pdf format... like the sinclair's pussey episode... that should have been a real easy big image to slice and upload, then you save people the time spent in loading up adobe acrobat (think about people with slower systems... guilty again, heh). other than that, keep up the good work... when i have done searchs on alatavista looking for "poser comics", I find anything but poser comics, I almost thought no one else was making comic with poser, so it's nice to see more people giving it a try. hey veritas, thanks for your words... I certainly would like to see more people using the DOAeyes on their characters... I guess the main trick is ona ctually how much to tweak the characters' eyes in order to make the DOAeyes look properly... because the milgirl here, when i just put riddokun's eyes on her, she looked like a freak!! the iris filled almost her whole eyes! so, then thanks whoever for the alien eyes, I started tweaking the dials... here's what you might want to consider, it's the main dials I use for making those big eyes: -alien eyes -eyes width -eyes closer (or close, something like that) -slant eyes -eyes round -eyes corner down play with those dials until you get eyes big enough for your taste. and I'm downloaind the bengal tiger... let's see how that turns out! hmm, i just read a Daz's newsletter... and I think i read you guys are gonna have the daz studio thingy "by thanksgiving"... that's a whole 26 days to wait still. I might be wrong though... believe it or not, it wouldn't be the first time in my life that I'm wrong :) Max

I'm just thinking about my comic... i need unique characters, and I don't want eople reading my comic and saying "oh, thats V3! that's V2! that's M3!, that's MD!"... and with mayadoll, I guess everyone will guess it's a model based on her instantly... but I guess that's ok... Mayadoll is the prettiest figure aesthetically speaking, so of course I'll support her as much as I can. Max

hmm, I tried to work saomething with the DOA eyes on animals, but Poser 4 animals (which are actually poser 3 animals) suck!! their eyes, iris, pupil and everything, are squares!!! you can't really fit any eyes onto them... I still don't have any millenium animals... they have a lion too?? if I get to have daz3d's animals ever, I'll test them as well. maybe this thread came to an end?? thanks for all your comments! Max

hmm, how did this turn out to be a debate?? anyway, debates are always interesting...

my opinion regarding poser renders are that they are, indeed, just FANTASIES, they just carry with them a message wanting to be expressed (generally).. and usually when you wanna convey a message in images, you need exaggeration, so the message can come across clearly.

Like, some of my female characters have these humoungous breasts because their characters require them, but then some of my other female characters are rather "normal"... and all my male characters look feminine so far, but that was done on purpose (heh) (I'm talking aesthetics here, this by no means was an offensive comment).

my point is that I don't think I'm being sexist by depicting women with large breasts... in my case, it's just a matter of characterization, something to get the message across, like "ok, here's a woman who's really concerned in making her breasts look large, so what kind of person is that?"... or even, she may have NATURAL large breasts and has to deal with it, as many women do (have you heard of breast reductions?)... so, when you see one of my female characters, you'll have your chance of making your own opinion about it, and anyway, the character building will be made in the comic I'm using them on (forgot to mention that last bit).

In the end, I wouldn't worry so much about what "being manly" is or "being womanly" is... something in a U2's video woke up YEARS ago "EVERYTHING YOU KNOW IS WRONG". Don't confuse being a "real man" or "real woman" with being a real and decent human being, which is all that matters at the end.

wow, what happened to victoria's neck?? the shirt lacerated her or something? on a serious note, great work... I'm sure that with textures and a bump map this'll look awesome... did you take the Victoria shirt and modified it in the cloth room on p5? how did you do it? Max
