You can ask nicely for a Press release and if you are lucky you get it. Those versions are fullversions but usually you can*t upgrade to the following version - they use special serialnumbers for these versions (Macromedia does and Eon does it too). At least over here and ehhh, you have to write a little article or review about the software and send them the magazine that has printed it. So maybe it's not really for free.

Hi Aureeanna, ProPack installs itself into Poser or installs over (sorry, I am german). It updates the existing Poserdirectory, adds some ProPack folders into the libraries and you will have a different Icon on your desktop. You open Poser to work from, just as you do now. Friederike

Man kann ein Verzeichnis noch ganz anders schzen: ein robots.txt Dokument anlegen und folgendes reinschreiben: User-agent: * Disallow: /images/ und ins Hauptverzeichnis hochladen. Wenn dann jemand dieses Verzeichnis direkt ansteuert, kommt die sche Error 403 - Zugriff verboten Seite. Beliebige Ordner lassen sich noch anfen. Ja klar, 100% Sicherheit gibt es nicht, das weiss ich auch. Friederike

I recieved my update on thursday afternoon after I sent them the request the same day in the morning. Maybe it's because of the weekend that they are a bit late? @ Marque - you can't get the update from their site, you have to email them a request with your order number.

When the jewelery is a prop you have to parent them to your fabulous creature's body ;-). That way the move with the model.

Double click on the jewelery, that brings up a window, click on the button that says set parent. From the menue select your models bodypart - ie if the jewelery is on the breast select chest - click ok and you're done.

If the jewelery is a conforming figure you apply it from the library, leave it selectet and go to Figure - conform to... and from the drop down menue select your Posermodel, click ok. That's it.

Ich versuch es mal einfach so: wenn Du einen Charakter lst, der auf Vicky basiert, kann es sein, dass dieser Charakter Morphs besitzt, die Vicky in der Grundausstattung nicht hat - dann kannst Du solche Gesichter bei Vicky oder anderen Vickycharakteren nicht benutzen.

Du kannst auch keine Gesichter der Poser4 Frau auf Vicky anwenden bzw. umgekehrt. Dasselbe gilt f Morphs, Kleidung, Posen, Texturen.

Wenn Dir die Haare eines Charakters gefallen und Du sie auch mit anderen Poserfiguren benutzen mhtest, dann musst Du die Haare zuerst als Prop abspeichern. Dazu wlst Du die Haare aus, fnest die Haarbibliothek und klickst auf das kleine Kreuz in Bibliothek einfen. Aus dieser Bibliothek heraus kannst Du die Haare mit jedem Charakter kombinieren.

You will have to edit the Matposefiles, that's what I often do when a Matpose points to a .bum file. Just launch Word Pad or the Notepad, open the Matposefile and use search and replace and you're done. It's no big deal. I've heard you could also save the bump.jpg as bitmap (bmp) and rename them into .bum but don't no if that works.
