I'm familiar with Toshiba laptops working in I.T. for many years I've used all sorts of models.

Polics and Religion are the type of topics that seem to always pop up no matter which forum / website I visit. Thes are two topics that people can argue and bash over each others heads till the cows come home. If this person did a single image of the type shown in the link and the rest were different I would leave it alone and call it a freedom of speech/expression through art. But if they continue to make these kinds of images than it something else and I would say the person is disturbed and this type of Images should be removed as they go beyond getting a reaction of the Brycer/ Rendersity community. Thats my 2 cents.

No Idea, that whole texture section baffles me.

I hope the interface in 6.0 is not changed too look like DAZ Studio. I tried DAZ Studio for the first time yesterday and I wanted to re-arange the windows a bit, made a mess of it, and couldnt figure out how to reset it back to the original settings. I had to re-install it to fix it. I dont like DAZ Studio interface.

Laptop Resolutions are Set by the LCD used. As an example my IBM ThinkPad 31P is set to 1400 x something. If i reduce the Resoltuion to 800 x 600 than the screen looks Fuzzy Anti-Aliased, because the LCD is not designed for that resolution. I hope I'M making it clear. Laptop LCD's have a maximum resolution that they are set too anything lower looks bad. Now for Contrast, usualy its a combination of FUNCTION Key (FN) plus some symbols that look like Brightness / Contrast like on your PC Monitor.

Scroll down to the bottom of that page and you will find links like this http://www.chius.ch/zoom//steps/22.jpg which will give you and idea how they did it and who contributed what. Also you will notice that as the picture zooms in there is no limitation on the type of Atmosphere or Lighting, there are Dark Cloudy scenes and Sunny Cloudy Days as well. I'm not sure how that will work with Bryce. The only main Common theme through out the Zoom quilt seems to be the Brown/Orange Vines. I think someone should make a Template File in bryce with Common Water/Sky Screen Dimentions that everyone can start with and we can take it from there. If I had thought it would stir this much interest I would have posted the link a long time ago :) But I guess its never too late.

This was done by Art students about a year ago or so. There should be a screen saver on the website that you can download with the same images. There is also a page explaining and howing each individual images and how they merged. Made up of 12-15 Seperate Pictures with some comonality.

I used it to render something in 1.5 Days instead of 4.6 Days

IF you flicked the On/Off Switch at the back of the PET fast enough the screen would shrink down to a single DOT on the screen a funny smell and burn followed. I could imagine the repair would be expensive back in those days.

My Wife thinks I'm incredibly over paid for what I do. However she does not seem to have a problem spending my paycheque. BTW: I get paid in Buckazoids I'm not sure how much that is on the 3rd Rock from the Sun.

Sheesh Feels Like I'm back in High School..... My C64 is better than your Atari 800xl hehehe but seriously. I have a Virus scanner installed on my Windows Based PC but it does not run live. I only use it to scan files sent to me. I make extra money on the side Cleaning Friends PC's of the Virus's and Stuff so thank you Microsoft for a flawed operating system and a flawed Internet Explorer :) I use FireFox for browsing.
