Hello, Thanks. This is my first indoor Vue scene and I'm still experimenting with the lighting. Also, some of the textures didn't come out as I wanted them. Still learning.

Hello, Jim, I've been using the Eye Candy 4000 beta fur filter to do some hair texture maps and the results aren't too bad. Just a suggestion. http://www.alienskin.com/ Later, hdrider

Thread: Textures and Seams | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hello, Thanks for the tips. I think the problem is in the polygon counts. Michael and Victoria have more so the texture maps are "stretched" out a bit. I guess it will probably be just trial and error getting the seams to match up. Still working on it, hdrider

robertsharkey, Thanks for the good comments. Like I said, I don't know where the model came from. This may help. All the parts were in German. Made it a LOT more interesting figuring everything out. The Cobra file with a xxx.PRJ extension is a .3DS project file. Most 3D programs will read it (I think). Also, I'm working a Corvette hard top but am having trouble with getting the door windows to roll down. hdrider

Also: As I really don't know much about cars, what year is this Corvette anyways? Also #2: Does anyone have an idea where this mesh may have come from? Like I said before, it's not mine and I probably better not distribute it without the owners consent.

Hello, Well, here's the Corvette convertible. Finally got it Poserized. The doors and hood open/shut. The front tires turn in unison (figured out that EMC thing...sort of). Comments/Suggestions ? hdrider

Mason, Hello. I'm in the process of converting a Corvette convertible to a Poser cr2 file and was wondering how you synched the front wheels? I've got mine set up to turn individually but both at once would be a lot better. Thanks, hdrider

Hello, I'm not sure what year these two Vettes are but I found them on one of my backup CDs. They are is Lightwave format and I have no idea where they came from. I'm in the process of converting the convertible into a Poser character. Slow process as the mesh had a LOT of holes in it. Like I said, I don't know where they came from so I'm not sure if I can distribute them on the net or to you. If anyone recognizes them, let me know who did em so I can contact them. Later, hdrider

Talking to yourself, eh? That's okay as long as it's a one way conversation. Catch myself doing just that every once in awhile. hdrider

Thread: Transparent Planes | Forum: Vue
Hello All, Narrowed my problem down to (as was suggested) to the transparency refraction. I upped it to 1.30 and the "blues" went away. However, if I increase the highlight, it comes back. I'll try bloodsong's suggestion of using other types of images for the trans (been using jpeg). Again, thanks to everyone for the help. hdrider

Here's a visual of what I'm working on. I've tried all the suggestions and they work fine with regular scenes but underwater is a different story. Any and all suggestions welcome. hdrider
