Hi Beos53,
I looked at Serif, and their newest version of WebPlus is $80. I think that I'll give this one a shot, especially since it is set up like a desktop publishing application. Thanks again for the recommendation. -Starkdog

Webster2772,
PLEASE!!!! Please , don't stop working on things for Farris. PBM, I really like Farris, and have been working on a few items as well. I have been working 50-60 hrs a week lately, and have had little time to work on Poser stuff. I have several things in the works for Farris, Jessi, Miki, Katie, and Ben. I am still undecided if I should give Gloria a shot- I love her face, but she has strange body proportions. This makes carrying over clothes items difficult. -Starkdog

Hmmm,
I hope that e-Frontier adds the photon mapping thing and particles from Shade to Poser 7. I really like that underwater submarine render. -Starkdog

This swimsuit also fits Irina quite well. Let me know what you think. I know, I need to fix the piping details. Hexagon is having a fit with beveling. -Starkdog

Hi StormChild69,
The procedure you are referencing, is if you want to create a UV template from an existing model. You don't need to map out V3, as there are several good UV maps out there- SnowSultan's being one of the best. All you really need to do, in PSP or PS, is to copy the template to the clipboard. Next, in a NEW file the same size as the template, paste the image as a new layer. Rename this layer as template. Next, copy and paste different pictures for the skin, eyes, etc on different layers. Dodge, Burn, clone, to infinity. Once you are happy with how it looks, turn the opacity level of the template layer to zero, and merge layers down. Save as a jpg, and now you have a texture map. If you need more help, check out Syyd's texturing forums at RDNA. She has a step by step setup for a V3 texture creation spread along several threads. I hope this helps? -Starkdog

I did a "quick and dirty" shrinkwrap of Katie's swimsuit on Jessi. I do have some pokethrough which I can fix. Here is a front view. Notice that Jessi is happy that she has a swimsuit that successfully do a 400 IM in. -Starkdog

Hi Conniekat8,
I am working on a few things for Jessi, swimsuits being one of the items. I made a Speedo type competition suit for Katie, that I can try to fit to Jessi. I'll get back to you later on that, as I've got to get bed, as 7:00 rolls around fast. -Starkdog

Hi StormChild69,
I definently understand what you are trying to do. I tried this with ok results, but it sure isn't trully photorealistic. First, I scanned in a pic of me in natural lighting- this keeps the skin looking nice without looking too dark or too light. In PSP, I then used the eye dropper to sample different tonal areas of my face, and then paint swatches in that color on a new, blank canvas. I saved this canvas as a reference. Next, I loaded SnowSultan's seam guides into PSP. I then created a new layer, sampled from the reference pallete, and started to paint in layers on top of the seam guide. I'm really impatient, so I didn't make a really cool texture with 500 layers, but that is how it works. One nice thing, is to do periodic saves as a PSD. You can load these PSDs into Poser, and render them in real-time. It is interesting, as you can see how paint placement on a UV map reacts on a 3d model. You can do the same type of thing within Hexagon, Bodypaint3D, DeepPaint3D, Modo201, and soon to be released Silo2. I hope this helps- Starkdog
