Subject: EZSkin and wet skin

I love the results I've been having with EZSkin, but I'm curious how to incorporate wet skin via the EZSkin script.  Is it just a matter of adjusting the specular, or is there another trick?

I raised overall specularity and added a spec-map for the drops to the EZSkin.

The specularity droplet map is borrowed from SkinVue 8, but any seamless water drop map would do.

Or a procedual noise/spot shader.

It's connected to a second blinn node that is plugged into alternate specular.

The main blinn settings of the EZSkin shader were raised, too.

That effect looks superb JoePublic - most impressive!

Just a quick heads up: EZSkin 2.0 will feature some special skin effects, including wet, sweaty, foamy, oily and maybe muddy/dirty skin.

Unfortunately, EZSkin 2.0 is only #3 on my list of projects at the moment, so it's not imminent. I'll get there eventually though ...

...oh no....just when I'd managed to get some sleep after a week's hard EZSkinning....!  Might as pack up sleep altogether when 2.0 comes out!

My self-build system - Vista 64 on a Kingston 240GB SSD, Asus P5Q Pro MB, Quad 6600 CPU, 8 Gb Geil Black Dragon Ram, CoolerMaster HAF932 full tower chassis, EVGA Geforce GTX 750Ti Superclocked 2 Gb, Coolermaster V8 CPU aircooler, Enermax 600W Modular PSU, 240Gb SSD, 2Tb HDD storage, 28" LCD monitor, and more red LEDs than a grown man really needs.....I built it in 2008 and can't afford a new one, yet.....!

My Software - Poser Pro 2012, Photoshop, Bryce 6 and Borderlands......"Catch a  r--i---d-----e-----!"
