Subject: Setup Room aggravation

Ok, I first tried using the setup room in PoserPro 2014 for Roxie, but PP2014 keeps crashing on me.  So, I made a swimsuit for Miki4 in Hexagon, added materials and UV's.  I imported the mesh into PoserPro2012 for comparison.  I tabbed into the setup room, and delected Miki4 DevRig, and the swimsuit regrouped accordingly.  So far everything looks good as shown below.

And... here's what happens when I conform the swimsuit to Miki4.  The same thing happeded to clothes for Roxie in PP2014.  WTF is going on, and what am I doing wrong?  I'm so frusterated, as I have a pile of things I want to make, and nothing is working right.  I almost want to just give up on Poser all together and find another hobby.  Thanks in advance for any help and advice.- Starkdog

You might want to try this after you conform:

Select the clothing

Choose Figure > Zero Figure (returns the clothing to zero pose)

Choose Edit > Memorize > Figure

Now your figure should be zeroed and memorized and should conform properly. Save to the library.

If this doesn't fix the problem let us know

Deecey,

That didn't work.  I loaded both Miki4 and Miki4 DevRig, and zeroed both.  Odd thing, is that Miki4 has a -0.043 translation in the Y-axis, even after zeroing.  Before zeroing, she had a 2 degree rotation in the X-axis, and her hip has a 4 degree rotation in the X-axis.  This is on a fresh install of Miki4, so I don't know if a ticket is needed at SM, or can I tweak the CR2 file?

Thanks, -Starkdog

Hmmm ... I'm not seeing that discrepancy on this end ... they are both lining up the same.

Here's what I get with both the dev rig and the finished version of Miki4 both loaded and zeroed

One thing though ... when zeroing Miki4 (the full one, not the dev rig) make sure you have HER selected rather than her eyelashes.

Ok, FINALLY got things to work in PP2014, and here is the front view.  I'm not 100% happy with the rigging, and there is a tear in between the breasts where it has been grouped in Poser.  Rear shot coming up soon.

Here is a shot of the back side.  The shoulder girdle area really messes with the straps, as Miki has some interesting rigging, and the pose I used had a lot of crumple in it.  I need to figure out how to add adjustment morphs for pokethrough.- Starkdog
