I don't really like the dust. When I imagine a photograph like that there either isn't any dust actually visible or there is a lot of really fine grain dust. Your dust looks more like pixie dust to me. It would look great if it was smaller. That is a great image.

The way GPS works is pretty simple. It times how long a signal takes to go from the satellite to the reciever and uses three or more satellites to triangulate your position. With one satellite all it can figure out is you are a certain distance from the satellite. For all it knows, you could be half way to the moon. With two, it can narrow it down to a strip of land that is fairly small. With three, it can narrow it down to just a couple meters. I tried to find my house but it was just a dot. The quality was extremely low. But I did find my unfinished dorm(this is its first year open). That was a pretty good shot. The new science building isn't quite finished either.

I do ratings because my experience has been that they sometimes are pretty honest. I have images in my gallery ranked "Good". But I don't understand how the system works as I will see an image with just a couple ratings, the average showing excellent, and thinking the image is piss-poor will rank it really low. Yet the average is still "Excellent". What gives?

I forgot to add: Options is at the very bottom of the Tools menu at the top. The homepage stuff is the very first thing in the General settings.

With 15 windows open they all get grouped into one icon that I have to click and the select the right one. I just find tabs a lot more convenient.

You got it. Mine looks different because I am using a theme called SaferFox Expanded and the ForecastFox plugin. You can get these and more from the Firefox website. What I like to do is browse the forums and right-click on a topic and open it in a tab and continue browsing while I wait for the servers to respond. Sometimes I can open two or three topics waiting for the first one to load.
