Oh, I heartly second that idea of having a separate folder for MAT poses. As well as being able to create your own Folders at top level. Latexluv

Thread: Offending freestuff??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, we certainly do see these threads a lot over the years (yes, I mean years, cause I've been around for quite a while). If it's a body texture, I'm not going to download it unless I see a version of it rendered in the thumbnail. I'm mostly on dial up on my laptop and so I need to know if I am going to be wasting my time on a download or not. Sexuality doesn't offend me at all. I believe there is beauty in both the male and female form (though female form is what gets most gallery hits). I was glad to download the 'offensive' ball gag, about time I had one for V3 rather than one that was for Posette that I resized. pass that popcorn ynsaen......seen this type of thread to many times....got any whiskey and soda while you're at it? Thread: Tell me about "The Popes of Poser" | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
A fun trip down memory lane. Thrallord introduced me to Poser (at the time I had only just ordered Bryce and it hadn't arrived yet in the mail). I'd add Maz to the list. Foxhollow has already been mentioned. Traveler, too. I asked them all silly questions when I was new. I just saw a name of someone posting a lot in the forums and away I would send a question. Some oldies may have changed their names and be lurkers now. For reasons I can't go into at the moment, I changed my logon name. Once, in a galaxy far, far away, I was called Dreamspinner. Thread: It's official: DAZ bought Bryce | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Actually, that's an incredible price for Bryce 5. I had given my Bryce5 away as a gift (keeping my Bryce 4 though I haven't used it in a long long time). But as I think now, I recall seeing Bryce 5 on the shelves at Fry's Electronics with a $199.99 price tag. This was about a month ago. I was there for a new DVD burner and was browsing hoping for another copy of Poser Artist (formerly Poser4), because, dang it, I've missplaced my copy around the house somewhere and can't find. (sigh Installed it on the laptop and now can't find the silly disk). Anyway, at that price at DAZ, I'd get a Bryce 5. I would still like to see this new plugin import directly from Poser 4 or 5, since I have no plans to use DAZ studio. Liz

But of course only if you use Daz Studio, not if you're using P4 or P5.............oh well. Liz

Thread: Attention Clothing Makers: David Needs Clothes!!!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I just bought that as well. I instant messaged him. He has his own character called Seth, and that's a competing product with David, so he was nice enough to give me links to tutorials on conversions, but I'm really hopeless at that. I have clothing converter, but can't get it to work well at all. I'm wishing there was a Conversion part at Renderosity where you could sumbit your purchases to someone who knows how to use the program and would do it for us morons who simply can't get it to work. I'd willingly pay a fee to someone versed in making that program or any other process work. Liz

Thread: Ok here... goes... Homoerotic Art Site (new) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Great! Going to check out the site now! I've been doing Poser for about four years. I was a member of this site just as it went from Poser Forum to the the name Renderosity. I have compaigned for more MALE anyting since the very beginning! Now I'm on a crusade for the David figure and got getting anywhere. If you check my gallery, I'm into Fetish/Goth/Fantasy art and would LOVE those kind of clothes for the male figures. I LOVE long haired men! I'll be signing in soon! Good luck with this venture! Thread: ? for Poser "Set" makers | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Although I don't understand one bit of this discussion, there is critical information in here for my friend talisman018 who is modeling nice prop objects for me in Amapi5. She is of course having the scaling problem as well and I have to do some scaling and re-orientation of the objects she's made when I bring them into Poser. I've copied out some of this for her to read. Ron, does your explanation of some of these things above also apply to how Amapi 5 exports 3ds (no obj export in 5, still trying to get my hands on Amapi6 for her). I will direct her to this thread as well. Thanks guys! Liz

You can place them under Textures or in under the 2D heading. When looking for background picks, I will search under both of those headings. I'm sure others look under those. Liz Pope Latexluv

Thread: I really like Dave! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm cautious but I think that I will end up liking Dave over Michael 3. His body is more in proportion than M3 (Mike has always been way too long in the waist for my taste) and he appears to have a face that is more morphable into other typers than M3. Just after downloading him, I checked Poserworld and was rewarded with some clothing for him to start out with. The jeans take a very nice leather texture. My render will be in the gallery soon. So, now, we NEED CLOTHES for him!!!!!! And.......some sexy, fetish/gothic clothes for him, please, please, please!!!!! Liz

Thread: Poser 5 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I just reinstalled P5 on the laptop, determined to learn where they hid all the controls I'm used to. I mean, I shelled out the bucks for the program, I should at least give it a decent go. I do like the Firefly render, it gives far better and sharper results that P4. I would love to find some more free materials for it. There's some over at RuntimeDNA, but I've not found any more materials anywhere else. I ran the service release 3 on the P5 install when I put it into the laptop. My question: is the service release 4.1 really worth the download wait time?

Thread: why are there no MM2 versions of MM3 stuff | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey, Lyrra, you're talking right down my alley! There are several PW things I downloaded, knowing I could change them to goth/Fetish wear with some simple leather texturing. I used some items from the Saloon Girl to do just this. Now that I'm using V3 more (though I cringe when I do), I'd dearly love to have some of the items from my V2 Fetish collection converted over to V3. But it really does sound like clothing Converter can make you pull your hair out. sigh I guess I'll attempt something with the program soon. I'll be looking for your stuff soon on PW!!!! Liz (P.S. wink We know each other from a couple of years ago. I was posting as Dreamspinner a long time ago, and I believe we corresponded a few times back then.)
