almeidap, there is no need to get your feathers all ruffled. I was simply stating my opinion because I've seen a few posts such as yours expressing concern over the low number of views to some images. I guess I have a different mentality than most when it comes to art. I create things to please me and my eye, and no one else. If I like it that's all that matters to me. If someone else likes what I've done, that's just icing on the cake for me. However, in most cases I am open to constructive criticism because I believe that's how we learn and grow and get better in what we do in life. Now of course if I'm doing something for someone that I'm charging a fee for, then of course I'll care that they like it, after all in that case I'm a tool creating something for someone who can't do it themselves, and it's important to me that they get what they want. But if it's just art that I've done because I felt creative, all that matters is that I like it. Art is very subjective and you can't please everyone. The only person you can be sure of pleasing is yourself, and that's what I strive to do; please myself. If only one person looks at what I've done and has left happy, that's all that matters to me. I'd rather have 5 people look at my image and appreciate it for what it is, than 50 people click and quickly glance and move on.

I don't understand people's panic over number of views to their gallery. It's not like the number of clicks generates any revenue. Post images because you like them. If people view them and like them, that's great, but it shouldn't be the primary reason for posting images in the gallery.

Thread: The Heiress for SP3 = Paris Hilton? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Cooler said something about the fact that unless the celebrity as copyrighted their face/look/features that it's a fine line and the likeness isn't necessarily a copyright violation. You'll have to ask him for more on that though, I got that second hand in the copyright forum when I asked about the very topic about celebrity look alike poser figures.

For current celebrities, I think Drew Barrymore has that classic beauty look, at least she did when I saw her on Letterman the other night. Plus her bubbly personality adds to her beauty. Katherine Zeta Jones has classic beauty too. Daniela Pestova (model) is also very beautiful.

Thread: I made something!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you!!! I've been so embarassed to post anything because I see so many great images in the gallery that are far superior to anything I could imagine myself doing, but when I did this one, I was so excited that I just had to post it :) Some good ideas regarding background; they've given me an excellent idea. Now to see if I can effectively pull the image from my head as I see it. I'm thinking along the lines of ghosting memories, perhaps a moonlight night in a cemetary and a handsome ghostly man standing watching her, or even appearing to be walking away glancing back at her. Eeek!!! I'm excited now, watch out, LOL

Thread: Using imported hair??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I simply go to Library/Hair and my Koz folder and load the hair. No need to conform (greyed out), and you can't parent it either. The thumbnail I have in my library is the one on the right, above.

Do you have any ideas about a background? I have a few but am always open to suggestions :) I don't want anything overwhelming that takes away from the figure. Something simple and mute that will add to the ambiance without distracting the eye. I'm a firm believer of "less is more" when it comes to art. I like having a focal point for the eye.

Thread: Help with posing problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks. I was hoping there was an easier answer, LOL But after some tweaking of moving the shoulder forward and the forearm a bit, the arm is now in front of the breast instead of sunken inside of it. Thanks :) What does that collision detection stuff do? I've tried using that at various times but can never seem to get it to work. Can it help body parts like hands and fingers not sink into clothing? or does it just apply to props like cups and tables and stuff?
