When I do this the image on the skydome just blows out to white.

It's my INJ builder of choice.

stripping out the unused morphs would be good...I don't know what I need at the start of making a character so I load all the ++ morphs and start spining dials.

I've used the fitting room for clothing. Looked for a tute on "mask morph fitting room" could not find any and have never seen any info on making face morphs in the fitting room. So...I don't know what that is. Can you explain?

you click on the image scource like you are changing the image map, that is where you get the pop-up for changing gamma.

others will say this as well....it's your gamma settings. If you use gamma correction in your render, and you should, you need to set transparency maps to a gamma of 1.0. If you don't they will look whispy like that is affects bump maps as well so they ned to be set to 1.0 too.

I use the envirosphere for all my renders. If I leave it white like the sceen you have rendered her eyes will reflect the white sphere and look wrong. What I do in this case is dispense with the "correct" reflections and use a cornea/eye surface texture that is transparent but has burnt in reflections on it. It's cheating but I only do it in that instance.
