Thread: Antique Typewriter | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
This manual typewriter looks fantastic and Cal should be commended for putting out such a great looking prop free-of-charge. Unfortunately it crashes Poser everytime I try to load it into a new scene. Has anyone on a Mac been able to get this typewriter prop to load without crashing Poser? I have gigs of memory so that's not the problem. TIA

Thread: San Francisco Hair on Michael | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Guess I can't really use the SF hair for the EXACT thing I have in mind but I still like it at a longer length for other projects. Again, THANK YOU!

No problem. I do like the SF Hair and will probably buy it now that you've been so kind as to show me how it will look. I think it'll be great for Mike the Warrior/Barbarian/Native American/Etc. I might get the California Conforming Hair. Just wish I knew if I could shorten the length a bit. I wrote the contributor so maybe I'll find out yet. Thanks again.

I like the SF Hair on Mike! It makes him look like a barbarian or a warrior or something. Only thing is I would like a hair style that is only a little past shoulder length and with a forehead part similar to the California Conforming Hair I've seen here in the Marketplace at... http://www.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=7225 Can the SF Hair morph so that the part is more like the California Conforming Hair? (I know I'm being picky but I have something specific in mind). Thanks so much for taking the time to do this! |-)Poser 2010 • Poser 8 • MacPro Desktop • Quad-Core Intel Xeon • 10 GB • Snow Leopard • Windows XP

Just discovered the California Hair style. Anyone know if the length of the hair is adjustable? It's close to what I have in mind but I need the hair to just be shoulder length only.

The SF Hair is just one example of a long hair style I'd like to see as an example on Michael. Actually, I've been looking for a long time now for a simple, but high quality, straight hair, parted in the center, shoulder length style that would look good on Michael. Almost all the styles I see are meant for Vicki and are just too "salon styled" to use on a male figure. Anyone found a style that would work?

Thread: bringing a file into poser using a mac. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
First open the folder called Runtime and note the directory paths for all of the files that are inside that folder. Then copy those files to the corresponding directories inside the folder called Runtime that's inside your Poser folder. I hope I stated that clearly enough to be understood. I know it's sounds more confusing then it actually is. There's also a utility called MacInstaller or something like that but I have better luck copying the files manually. Good luck to you!

Joe Le Gecko, Can you please clarify... The ONLY items available for members to download are the ones in the Subscription Preview area? There's nothing else yet? By the way the site looks great! Well designed.

I know, I found it strange too, but the '57 Chevy executable DID indeed unstuff even if it was labelled as being an .exe file. Duddly says it's a "zip executable" which sounds very much like a Stuffit "self extracting archive" on the Mac. So I guess Stuffit Expander can recognize and decompress them. News to me! And, Duddly . . . T H A N K S F O R T H E C H E V Y ! The red one is my childhood dream car! Love it. Love it. Love it. :-)
