Actually, Metacreations stated there WILL NOT be an RDS plug in for P4. They abandoned the Ray Dream property for Carerra (sp?) earlier this year.

I think the people hosting this site (Edge Net) wanted control/ownership of all entries to the Pose This contest, just the latest of many decisions which have stepped on the toes of the PFO staff. The PFO team decided to create a new site, with no connections to Edge Net whatsoever. Several others are reacting/overreacting to this announcement by mass abandonment in favor of the new site. I agree with the decisions, but not with the anger behind them, myself. And if Spammers have been getting our names from here, it's probably just by VISITING and collecting them, and not by any actions directly made by EdgeNet.

I found the USB hard drive in a catalog from APSTECH. They are at http://www.apstech.com I don't know if they list the drives there. Neat stuff though.

I recently discovered the existance of USB external hard drives (10 GB and 20 GB flavors). A very tempting option, especially if you use multiple computers.

Well, I can barely afford the flowers for two reasons: 1) I got them from 1-800-Flowers. Convenient, but FAR from cheap and 2) I BOUGHT the CDs... :-)

That's how a lot of the models are intially constructed, IIRC, but that's the EASY part; after that you have to slice the model up, make some file type changes, etc. It's a long, complicated process. Someday I hope to have the skill and patience to give it a shot, but I don't know if that will EVER happen.

I think Graylight Poser (link on the sidebar) has some gun-wielding animations, mostly set up for the Lawgirl figure, but probably usable with other models too.

At this point it sounds like your talking more programming than animating, so, either you code your own engine, license someone else's, or use VRML on a web site. It's not easy. I'm hoping to one day get to this level, but it's a WAY off!
