Thank you very much every body for the comments. :-)About sounds effects. Most of the most recent clips were 'sound-designed' with SmartSound's SonicFire Pro, and assembled with After Effects. The last 2 clips, like the oldest, used free waves (from web site collections) modified, aranged, and then assembled in Nero Wave Editor and After Effects.
For exemple, if you have a specific idea of noise, you can start a search with www.findsounds.com
Hope that's help.

Thanks... happy you like my clips (www.belino.net).
Wabe, you're right, I am on PC(s). But by the past I tried e-on's softs on Mac (at the last Apple Expo), and could say it is the same. I mean, I suppose, the work is almost exactly the same between PC or Mac.

Agree with numanoid about animated material. By the past I used an alpha plane in front of the camera (linked to the camera too) with a kind of water material. Default water material at the begining, then I changed some parameters like colors, shadow, etc.And I animated that material , along, X, Y or Z...in fact can't remember exactly. But that was working. Of course renders could be more longer. For the little story, now I prefer to make heat effect in poswork (Afetr Effect); more fast.

Oups.
To be more clear... Step 3, when I write "Change 1 to more" it is not about the step 1, but it is about the value default which is 1. Here that 1 was changed to 5.

Just back home now (many hours later). ;-)
Well... You can have that kind of mblur in Vue 4 Pro with Mover only. Not sure with Vue d'Esprit "un-pro". In VP, you'll have to make a broadcast render with multiple passes. Could be very long. But it is powerful...for the eyes ;-)

Yes Shiollie. Click, and you'll see all the parameters. So you'll select the keys in that new part of the display.

Not sure... I am loking for your screen capture of the timeline. I am wondering if you had clicked on Show/Hide properties (bottom left on your capture) to select... Had you?

Since Monday December 8 2003 17:20, the tutorial is available at Daz.Thread: Phoul did it again....! | Forum: Vue
lingrif, you talk about the lighting... Well, as you could see at my animation web page, the shot was post processed with After Effects. Blue ambiance and flash storm were done with After Effects. At the beginning the atmosphere and materials came from the Vue collection. The tutorial will show that part of the work (made with default stuff). It will be less blue, but it works all the same ;-)

Thanks all :-)
I am working on a tutorial about that 'Fake Waves' shot. Hope you'll be interested.
