im curious do you have any links to some of matts older stuff pre lotr ive seen newer but am curious what some of his older stuff looks like ? I t is very dificult to pick just two but hopefully this will make people think harder also try and tell us why you like the modleing is it style etc telling us you think they are good is fine but try and tell us what exactly seperates them from the others in your eyes

rhino seems to me to be a great app that its very easy to creat very good organics look at how well teyon has done with it ! only draw back is if you intend to move to a higher modeler down the road that uses polys because a lot of people have trouble moving from nurbs to polys and vice versa though some make the trasition well

hmm i think teph makes a point i dont know how it is where you are but wher i am in the states if you plan on getting in this buisness most of the studios i know want to know how many jobs or who you have worked for ! it doesnt matter if you did walking with dinasours for free its not considerd experiance unless your paid un fortanetly in most cases there are alot of people in the industry that are working because of that the fact that they got paid for less inspiring work but they were paid for it and can use it as a refrance , the difrence is if you were paid for it they know you fufiled a contrat cnad have been in a employye enviroment with a solid shhet so even if you charge a litle charge something if you plan on going into this buisness a few good examples is a freind that picked up mirai and got a job doing a small job for a small company now he gets offers every week becuase once you get paid you r name is out there you become a freelance artis another good example is logan arts once hes worked at egg 3d for three years he will be able to work anywhere basicly in the us becuase of his experiance (and talent ) Teyon who has done some models far better than pros i know if he were to get one small paying job i think would break int the industry with his talent all thes people have done projects or work for free but pay is more benificial so get a check no matter what LOL

well the basic concept or 3d modeler makes around 280 for a days work since you r an amutuer id say charge half baiscly its the cost of you machine cost of software and your hourly charge

at the moment im swamped with my lil projects but ill try to get a tutorial up as soon as possible since hes such a simple character ! wyrwuff no problem however if youll be using him for poser the poly count will jump cause it will need to be frozen! At the moment im seting him up in messiaha and i beleive loganarts is doing a lw rig for him also

haha ! he's a lazy eye demon ! this was just a lil test render while modeling ill do this to see what the shapes look like a litlle beter since lw has no customazitoin for lighting in modeler ! he still has a long way to go ! thanks for all your comments and help you guys help keep me going !
