Nice one Jack, great pattern picture, you have positioned the flowers just right in the frame. How about this for a suggestion you mask out the grave with the flowers and only apply youre post work to the rest of the picture. This would lift the main subject and subdue the back ground while keeping the great pattern. :O)

I like the tighter crop Patmarti. I think you could get away with an even tighter crop with this subject but you do need that light just to give it a lift, are you going to re shoot in better light? Shooting into the light might be interesting, getting the morning frost might work well too. You will have to check your exposure but the rim lighting could be very interesting. Think! I must go see if I can find some of this stuff :O)

Like you picture here Patmarti a great subject with its softness and swirling lines. I would be tempted to get in closer if your camera allows you to. And maybe try adding a little bit of flash just to brighten it up. :O)

Donald just love this, a real feeling of the city. Wonder if you had set out to achieve this effect it would have been so successful? One small comment the tower is a bit central to the picture it might work better with a crop on the right :O)

Works for me to Tasquah, taking the focus off the background and back on the subject. Might just tone down the background hi lights and stop them competing with the dolls face. :O)

Just attended a great lecture on Nature Photography. I asked the speaker his thoughts on posing his subjects and in tidying up the scene. His response was that this was fine but it was good practice to declare it when submitting pictures for exhibition or picture libraries. He gave a couple of examples the first being moths that he captures in his moth trap at night then poses god knows how. In the early morning to photograph. The second was a fox that visited his garden he set up a bin with food and put his camera inside with some form of trip. As a viewer I was not concerned he had setup and posed his subject the photography was fantastic. :O)
