No hard feelings....That's what I get for making such a "bold" statement. Actually, my favorite movie of all time would have to be BladeRunner. Don't know what it is, but every time I see it there is something new that I didn't catch before. Just one of those films that strikes a particular chord with me.

fun-e win95 runs by using Virtual PC software emulation, so you know thats got to be fast ; ) I do remember those Hybrids vaguely...reminds me of a box my dad rigged once that was an Amiga1000 and a PC... thing weighed like 4 tons.

Rork1973..........dood lighten up....I'm just messing around. That was just my exaggerated opinion since I just got back from seeing the actual film AGAIN, which I haven't done SINCE Star Wars....Hence the comparison yadda yadda yadda. Star Wars doesn't follow the books that closely either.....then again, what movie does? I'm done with this before I enrage some more of you.

Oh yeah your color looks fine here on a MAC with Dual monitors running OS9.1 at a blazing 266mHz ( take that all you 1.5gHz XP fools hahahahahhahaha) oH, yeah it also looks fine on my MAC running windows95 (lesser of the great evils). pc, mac, pc, mac, pc, mac.......Commodore-64 rules!

A hahahaha yet more victims of XP (x-tra poopy). Guess what, the fun has only just begun. I've also heard of a HUGE number of programs will not run under XP, untill they are ported to the NT architecture. I just love reading about all the problems people have with windows and PCs. especially since XP. Makes me feel WAAAAY better about spending all that money on a MAC way back then. Big Brother Gates is watching YOU! (tell him I said to ****) (I'm just messin' btw)

BEST MOVIE/BOOK EVER is now OFFICIALLY LORD OF THE RINGS Moulin Rouge is NOTHING compared to this MASTERPIECE of entertainment. I'm not even into all that crystal wizardry, but this film blows even the original star wars series away. Can't wait until the other 2 and a possible Hobbit spin off. SEE IT. (trust me)

Well you brought it up, so here goes....Always use a tripod for this kind of work. (especially windy beaches) Now with that said, nice work. About the composition thing. I would have preferred a non-symmetrical split. Probably with more emphasis on the sky...unless you had something of interest in the foreground to lead you through the frame. Your polarizer, in the first shot was useless (if my theory serves me right) as a polarizer will only make a differnce at an angle of 90 deg. from the sun (northern and southern skies) Someone correct me if I am mistaken....Alpha? Although polarizers can also be used as neutral density filters. If you like to shoot this kind of image, I would look into purchasing some graduated neutral density filters. (darken the sky and keep the foreground lighter) Or you can(with a tripod) take 2 shots of the same image. One perfect exposure from the sky and another perfect exposure from the ground.... then photoshop comes into play. I think I've gone on long enough. I hope you find my rambling helpful. Keep em coming.

I want to go to Norway....take me ,take me. Beautiful shot btw. I got the chance to play with one of sonys digi cams this weekend. I wasn't too impressed. Obviously, you know how to use yours. Keep shooting, and hit the pressure relief valve on all that holiday stress. ....and don't forget to take me to Norway.

Many of Ansel Adams B/W posters are actually duotones. ( cause there is no way in hell Anyone, EVER, will capture the tonal detail of one of his prints in a poster) Epson Rules Oh yeah as far as toning in the darkroom..... I like selenium. It gives a crisp coolnes to your prints and at the same time makes them more permanent.
