Yup, a lattice is what I'd use, or a terrain on its side can be a bit more controllable sometimes.

oops - better warn that there's some blurred-out nudity, and some may find it a bit sexually explicit.

To me it's way too shiny for bronze - look like it's been laquered. Even highly-polished bronze wouldn't be that shiny.

I'm not a great 2d person, but it looks to me like you have so many colours in the composition that they cancel each other out. I like how vibrant the central building is, think it would have a lot more impact if everything else was toned down - particularly the swathes of flowers in front of it, which draw your eye as soon as you look at the image. Sometimes, maybe less is more? The lighting might look terrific if the the image wasn't so busy.

How does Morrowind work? Do you need a cd with all the graphics/sound fx/music etc. to play?

Hi Gog - I lived near Bristol for three years (just outside Bath) and went to and fro to the St. George area all the time - used to design paving systems for a concrete company there. That was what prompted me to buy my first pc and CAD program, got sick of using chipped rulers, wonky compasses, and pencils with blunt points LOL. whereabouts do you live? I love that area. When I become fantastically rich I'm going to get a house in that area, and spend 3 months out of every 6 there :) I can dream, can't I?

No snow here yet this year (Dublin, Ireland) :( The down side of getting snow so rarely is that when it happens, it's regarded as a national disaster, everything grinds to a halt and no-one goes to work for the duration. Or maybe that's the up side? We were hoping for snow today, but no luck - not even a frost :D

Yup, I got the scale all wrong as well. Maybe you could make it The Fairies' Last Stronghold, and hold on to the scale. You could make the viewpoint less symmetrical by having the crates(?) curving towards the rock from one side, and placing the viewpoint low down on the resulting causeway, so you're looking ahead, but with the causeway curving towards your ultimate goal, the stronghold. (clear as mud, all that)

Heard a good quote on TV last night that made me laugh - "If all porn sites were removed from the internet there'd be only one site left - and that would be campaigning for the return of porn!"

Shonner - I'm sure you didn't mean that remark offensively, but there's something vaguely unsettling about it. There's a huge world out here that's not the US, and we come in all shapes, sizes, colours, and mate with each other freely :D
