sigh Lol, TMG, I was being sarcastic - the bublle, by the very laws of physics HAS to float at the top, yeah? So moving the bubble down to the front isn't possible.... (",) Damn, actually, I've just realised it would be possible if the top of the tube had a flat section inside.... maybe I should give up..... lol

Bloody hell, mods, calm down calm down!! You know as well as I do that I never mean the comments maliciously, I just like to see reactions - I thought the likes of you, Misha, would know that as much as anyone! look : . molehill _ / / / mountain..... I'm sure I could quite easily drop back about a year and find comments to similar things from yourselves that found it funny then.... Jeez! (",) Power corrupts - absolute power corrupts absolutely ;)

Well done Cyn! You remembered it!! SEE Tedz, I told you, you CAN educate blondes - that's a bottle of Broon you owe me..... (",)

Nice work agree with DB about the banner, but the uniform green background makes it look at first glance kinda like the bog-standard homepages you set up with the program on the website for your free webspace from your host... Nice and quick & easy to flip around (but I'm on broadband so that doesn't count). The non-arty pictures (eg. the pic of your camera) could maybe do with just some minor postwork to stop them all looking so... erm... uniform and boring? Even just adding some shadows or something to a couple, so they don't look all the same? Just my opinion tho. Overall? I like it - seen a lot worse! (",) p.s. guys, to get his link : click on his name, go to his gallery and click on the link under any of the pictures. Or cut and paste this : http://picard.sytes.net/

What I don't like about these things is the way the bubble is always half-hidden at the top of the level - you've got to really bend down too see it..... Maybe someone should invent one where the bubble stays at the front for easier visibility? snigger (",)

Misha, I know your a mod now and all that, but hey! The rest of us have to stick to one image a day, and you come along and do this thing with like 60-odd images for a week!!! Now, sorry bud, but that's not on - that averages like nearly 10 a day. And such different styles throughout? Are you sure this is your work?!? If not, did you get the artists' permission before reproducing them here??!? WELL?!? Tch. typical. Gingers and Blondes. Both the bloody same. (",)
Thread: Sharpening | Forum: Photography
Ooooh, dodgy subject this sharpening mullarky.
Now me, I still prefer to use a hobby knife to sharpen, some people like those olde-fashioned metal ones, some prefer the little square "school-type" metal ones that are hell on the fingers, while the high-flyer in his office will either have an electric one or a secretary to sharpen his.
If you ain't sure which to go for, try a mechanical pencil. Less messy, no shavings in the bin.
Hope this helps!
(",) Oh, bugger - just realised I didn't actually answer the question of how much to sharpen! Told you, bloody minefield this subject! Once again it's personal choice, but just leave a little bit of lead for finework, but sharpen further back with a knife for shading. Don't try shading with the mechanical pencil. Cheers!

Hmm. Looking at it again, I actually see an aardvark poking it's head out of a hole. Nose, eye, mouth - the works!! (Mind you, someone sent me a picture to test your observation skills that said if you found all 11 faces you were very observant. I found 13.) Bsteph is just a sick bar steward. (",)
