WOW!!! Thanks for the encouraging words. I just checked my e-mail, and saw the ebots, hehehe. As for the Angiogram, my arteries are clear, and there are no structural problems with my heart. They did that to rule out any blockages or narrowing of arteries. The cardiologists concluded that it is an electrical problem, causing the atria(top half of heart) to beat prematurely, causing a strange heart rythym on EKG. I am on meds to control my heart beat and I feel MUCH better. Ironically, I have been dieting since late April, and have already shed 20 lbs. I have another 30-40 lbs to go until I can reach single digit bodyfat percentage. The doctors have said that losing the 20 lbs has made things easier on my body, and they cannot wait to see me leaner. This was a BIG wake-up call, and I have made numerous lifestyle changes for the better. I still have to take it easy for 2 weeks before I can resume any physical activity. I can't wait to go golfing and play some racquetball. Unfortunately, I have to slowly wean myself off of coffee, down to 1-2 cups per day. I can easily drink a pot without any ill effects, but the doctors want me to cut WAY back. I'm just warning you about future incoherent posts I may make- it's due to lack of caffeine!!! Take care guys and girls, and I'll be back later this weekend. -Starkdog

Oh no,
It's unfortunate that we lost another Poser great. My thoughts are with his family. -Starkdog

I am so happy that Laura (Blue) likes her new sandals. Vicky, Steph, and Maddie are now giving me that evil look. Anywho, back to Hexagon for more fun. -Starkdog

Thread: Is the Zygote Female poserized? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Keep in mind that the "no erotica" clasue was for the Zygote figures. The Sixus Project Human figures have no such restriction, hint hint hint!!! Not to mention that PHFemale is less than 50000 polys IIRC. -Starkdog
Thread: Some advice on the utilities that are for sale here. | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Hi FranR,
There are a couple of inexpensive utilities that you can use. First, is Auto Group Editor. This is a utility to split the clothing mesh to approximate the mesh of the figure's joints and body parts. Next, is Quick Conform, also by MarkDC. This will allow you to use a character or donor cr2 to use to rig your clothes. As for some free utilities, there's UVMapper by Steve Cox, MorphManager by Mr. X, and Cr2Editor. I'll try to get some links up in a few minutes. I hope this helps? -Starkdog
Thread: Is the Zygote Female poserized? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
DAD, over at Poserforums.com, rigged the Zygote woman using the Sixus PHF rig. I think that there is still a link to DAD's site there to download the rigged version of the Zygote woman. It is unfortunate that the new Zygote people and the PH family didn't take off as planned. Perhaps the fact that they were open source scared people away??? I hope this helps, -Starkdog
Thread: Making clothes from V3/M3/Poser figures??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Barrowlass,
Depending on what type of clothes you are trying to create, Silo can be awesome. I use the topology brush to "paint" a topology of what I want on V3, and Silo creates the mesh to fit V3, based on what I painted. This is a great way to get tight fitting clothing. I also use this to make big, bulky clothing as well. I also use Hexagon, and cannot wait for the added functionality of Hexagon2, with built-in UV mapping and editing, as well as mesh painting. Just try a few free demos of commercial and free programs, and stick with what works. -Starkdog
Thread: Infinite lights in skydome??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Hey Stark you ever find out what it was?
Well, for starters, the normals were reversed on the skydome. Poser6 has been acting up on me lately, but I will try again soon. I have been busy trying to get over this sinus infection/ hacking cough/ bubonic plague that has been going around here, so I will eventually get back to it. I also plan to add a boardwalk to the scene as well. Because of the size of the scene, Poser 6 screetches to a grinding halt at times. I might have to use a "cyclorama" as a backdrop instead, and a texture for the water and sand, rather than shaders. -Starkdog

Thread: Infinite lights in skydome??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hmmm,
Thanks for the tips. I might just have to make the skydome a seperate object, as I can then check the cast shadows box. I never thought of the camera position, but I'll check that too. Thanks, -Starkdog
