Are they going to remake the original with Johnny Depp filling Han Solo's role?

For making trees greener:
Load a 1 sided square. Then you are going to want to use a combonation of an image map, and an HSV node. If you only want to enhance certain areas, you're going to have to muck around with blender nodes and image map masks.
You can also use a color math bias (or gain, forget which) node with a math add plugged into the bottom part.

No, I'm guessing he's just being lazy. He should have known that what he suggested wouldn't fix my problem as it was unrelated but stopped short. This is why people hate dealing with customer service.

Quote - "Apologetics" somewhat different than a straight apology.
Yes, an apologist is someone who defends something or another.

Quote - IE has nothing to do with the material room. It's the library that uses an IE component. And it doesn't use your whole browser or make you use it for your browser. It is (or was at the time) the only reliable way to use an HTML/HTTP UI to host the library component.
It's about a library component that should be part of the operating system or the .net library, but instead is packaged as part of IE. In case you must know why - it was done to so that a single implementation of the library component would work on every platform and every SM graphics product.
Thanks for the why Bill. I like MS for some things, Windows (before 8), Visual Studio, Big, Hotmail, etc. but IE (like the xbox) isn't one of them.
Now I have to yell at CS for telling me to install something I needed (library worked fine) but had no relation to the problem I had.

I did not know this. I started with poser 7 and didn't see the requirement change as it is in small print on the back of the box.

Quote - But getting back to the original topic: what would really be exciting to see is what they've done in the material room.
If they don't make it less laggy, I'm going to rage.

I'm more curious as to more what the "what" will be and not the "when". What is going to be the main area of improvement in the new poser?
Caustics?
Particle effects?
Modeler built in?
Cloth room?
Less bloody lag in the mat room?
Better Gene compatibality (maybe without DSON)?
Automatic breast upsizer?
One click nude vicky with a sword in a temple?

Thread: What makes a Poser render look realistic? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
1. Starts with the mats. The best lighting in the world won't help you if you've got the wrong mats, the mats aren't gamma corrected, they were designed and tested with certain specific (different) lighting.
2. Now the lights, they need to match your scene. This is very important to photograpy, but is slightly less important in poser just because of the nightmare that is all your materials in a complex scene. They set up your lighting.
3. Poses, this one is pretty easy to get wrong because it's easy to go from real to this looks nice without noticing it. While I'm thinking about it, if you are doing dynamics and there's any transition at all, what frame you character stops at is important. I was using one of Biscuits dynamic outfits and when vicky stopped too soon, her lack of panties soon became appearent.
4. Expressions. This needs to be right.
5. The camera. I think this is the easiest one for someone to forget about. Angle and location are important and people often overlook this. They too often set the scene to the camera instead of putting the camera in the right location for the scene.
6. World clutter. This weakness annoys me a lot. In the real world, there isn't just one or two things, there's a lot of things. Getting enough stuff in the scene to look right is a challenge.
7. Render settings, these are the finishing touches so you can have mirrors, IDL, SSS, etc, xyz.

Of all the things I listed, I think it's the competition thing they are most afraid of or getting worked up over.
PS. Don't forget the shower heads with "massage" functions in addition to toys.
