I dont wish to sound shortsighted, but why would you put everything youve acquired into your runtime folder? Wouldnt it make more sense to archive it and pull it on an as-needed basis so youre not forcing Poser to jump through too many hoops everytime it starts up?

I should think that by a combinaiton of overlapping spotlights (not omnidirectionals) with a fuzzed edging, white ambient light, and a very slight use of haze, one could get the same effect.

Put your runtime folder someplace else (or back it up on a CD), uninstall, then install again and replace that runtime with your backup.

May I cavel just a small bit? Its essentially the same petty sort of complaint about Robert Sharkeys image later in the board; nevertheless:... beautiful image, good composition, good sense of costuming and propping -- and impossibly perfect makeup. Barbarella herself would be envious of the perfect mascara and perfect lipstick that adorn our poser women. =)

Ive no idea what the VWGTI is, but virtually all Poser files can be opened on a Macintosh if run through Maconverter, a utility you can download from a number of places. I found it at 3d-cc.com.

All right, small kidding aside --- expressions. The body forms are quite good, but their faces are blank slates. This is what reduces Poser to mannikin studies; there's no life to the faces, no sense of the emotions running through their Poser minds.

Contrary to what Miss Nancy says, I rather like the stylized feel to these. There are already a few train sets out there, but this one is the first I've seen that has any real character and sense of design about it. The slightly "puffy" feel (as most vividly seen on the caboose) gives it real charm. Id recommend keeping them the way they are now.

So I suppose what were saying is that shes Polynesian/Italian/Greco/Native American with possibly some Hawaiian on her mothers side and perhaps some Indian and Canadian on her fathers. Whew!

Another approach is to load them into the user palatte of the "create" menu. Ive had good luck handling the very files youre talking about.

The onstage chairs feel a bit too wide somehow, and Im a bit concerned that everything is the same color. Ill be curious to see what later images look like. How are you providing the cast?
