Fox is right!Try this first.Second :there is an option where you can you can mark if an objekt makes shadows(sorry , Im german and dont know the english menue)unmark this option. A tip from Anton Kiesiel!And its depending where the lights are, if they are in the background the problem is stronger

Go and look for the "Fara-texture" in Freestuff.Its great.And Pauf Hafelis photorealistic textures at bbay.com are very nice too but you have to pay for.

Its quiet easy.In the menue on your second photo go from the bryce folder to the Poser4 folder , than down to runtime, than textures . Thats where most of poser textures are, or in some subfolders of textures.If you got the right one dubbleclick and bryce got it
