Thanks Gerhard... ok, I have another dumb question now, lol... for macro shooting, do you need a lense that says macro? LOL.. I feel so stupid. I thought finding the information I want would be easy, but it seems to be eluding me! Perhaps I'll stop at the book store today ;-) Thanks again. Mercy

Hi Cybermonk, thank you for the compliment and the advice. I'm not sure how to assign things to different texture groups just yet, but I'll keep playing :) I've been working on a simple little garden wall with a very simple fountain on it. Perhaps if I use different texture groups, i'll fix my rendering problems. Part of the wall renders black, no matter how I change the colors. OH well, I'm learning, finally :) Thanks again! Mercy

Thanks for the tips, Laurie. I sure do apprecieate it. I'd like to try making clothing, but for now, I think making some simple props will sufice, until I get a bit better. Is this the proper forum to be posting modeling related questions in? They will be poser models... so, just wondering. :) Thanks again! Mercy

Thanks Lunaseas & droyd :) More great galleries that I'm planning to add. I so apprecieate everyone's input. Keep them coming... the more I can add to the tour, the better. Lots of stuff that I have here is there as well, but, I was a member of elfwood before I knew this wonderful place even existed. Imagine my surprise (and delight) to find Osity lol. I have quite a few fantasy & sci fi elfwood sites bookmarked... anyone have any fan art poser images in the Fan Quarters? I'd like to include all three art sections if I can. Wyvern's Library would be nice too, if someone's used a poser image they made to illustrate their writings :) Sure do apprecieate the feedback! You guys are wonderful :) Mercy
