What I hate along this topic is finding some great prop, texture or whatnot that you might only use for one or two projects...but once you leave it in your folders for awhile it gets lost in the clutter. What I have started doing is using an install monitor [I use Norton Cleansweep] and monitor each installation. That allows me to then get rid of all instances and parts of a file or only remove what I want, without a manual search.

The easiest way to get 'Wows' is be a prolific marketeer in the store or a good texture creator, get a good following of beta-testers and you are off to the races!! On a more serious note, I have to remember with each post that I am doing this stuff for myself and because I enjoy it. If others don't have the time to comment or view, or just plain don't like what I do -- well then, I just go back to the gallery from time to time and admire my own work so it isn't just taking up space. I am the primary person that I have to please with my efforts, and each time I re-look at my work I can spot something that could have been improved.

It seems more than one has been wondering about you. I thought of your great Lady Veth textures just recently...I have been reverting back to Posette and older models lately. Armorbeast over at dreamslayerartworks.com asked if I would like to be sort of a retro artist there...bringing back some of the older Poser items. I have been intending on doing something like that, giving the newer Poser users a look at the 'old school'.

I am glad to see you are still coming up with creations for her, Gareee. I fail to understand why more people aren't doing things for her yet, she has been on the market for awhile now and seems to be popular. Is this pack you are working on now going to be available only at the Polymage site, or in other stores as well? Or am I jumping the gun and it is too soon for even you to know? ;P

I have noticed that she is not real receptive to poses made for other characters. By this I mean some poses for Vicky work on Posette, vice-versa and etc., with some modifications...but with most pre-set poses Neftoon Gal justs tears apart when I apply them. Can't wait for Schlabber's English version tutorial on posing to come out.

I find this thread exciting [and don't see anyway that it can get off-track and nailed shut at this point]...It makes me remember back in the early days of Poser characters. Remember those gawd awful looking people who didn't even resemble cartoon characters? Then came Poser4 with more realism progressing up to the current time with all the photo-realism...now evolving to the toonish people. Poser people are going full circle and improving with each loop...and now we are making a list to take it into the next generation...Cartoons! I love the 'toons ...We need Popeye!

Some good poseable Smurfs. There was a Smurfette out but it was very limited in posing, etc. And of course in the comic strip kingdom how can we survive w/o Blondie and Dagwood Poser characters?

I am still running Win98SE with very few problems, the fact it has been around so long and is stable says something about the new stuff that MS puts out. The hackers and such have already had their challenge with Win98 and more or less just leave it alone now. I may update someday to Win 2K, but don't care to have my OS be the prime spyware program on my system at this point...so nix on XP. Next step from Win 2K would be Lindows.

Agree with biggert...I have been IE free [plus Outlook Express] for over 5 years now. I use NeoPlanet for sites that are IE only friendly...my browser crashes and Page 404's are down to nearly nothing now. I removed McAfee demo and Norton2003 full and installed AVG by Grisoft. IMO it is the best anti-virus on the market and is free, it caught 2 bugs in my system that Norton had never heard of yet. It updates [free] on a constant basis.

No popup with Netscape7 on my end.

If you end up having to pay full retail price someplace, check out the software houses that give student discounts. Often they offer great savings on top line software...course ya gotta be or know a student to buy at these places. Not sure if teachers are allowed discounts or not.
