Ya know I was just trying this a little bit ago. I haven't looked it up in the manual yet either. What I wanna know is how can I get my skullcap to look like the default ones, IE: with the nice texture, so that the scalp doesn't shine thru so much with fewer hairs. I tried simply cutting and pasting all the materials from the default skull cap to my new one (BTW the character is Judy based, but her head got reshaped by the faceroom so the defaul skullcaps won't fit.) But it was all screwed up. I think part of the problem is the figure I made the cap from had a faceroom skin. (Can you get rid of those?) Sorry if this isn't clear I just wanna know if you have been able to make a new skullcap with the Skullcap textures and transmaps applied that looks right. (Probably time to read the manual. :)) BTW the hair looks great very soft looking. the render time must be murder with 7000 hairs tho.

Thank you. ^_^ I never got very good with Poser 4. Played with it for a bit then pretty much abandoned it. But i'm determined to learn to use P5 well.

I think Judy looks a bit off... Not Ugly persee...Just like too much plastic surgery, and a mild case of Graves disease. Don I think looks fine... Hell, since i never bought Mike he looks friggin amazing compared to dork. :) I agree that there aren't enough Eye and mouth shaping morphs though, but all in all not bad. As for people who complain about Judy's proportions they are NUTS! I like a woman with a little meat on her bones!

We should all share our recipes for various cloth types.(perhaps formula is a better word?) I just noticed I got My shipping notification on Monday so maybe I'll get my P5 Tomorrow...I hope I hope.

I remember those sierra games. (on the amiga.) Talk about a pain in the rear. But even that didn't stop copying. People would do things like photo copy the code Disc, in Lucasarts Battle of britain, and reassemble it. But as was said there just wasn't the ridiculously organized piracy there is today. Copy protection is of no real effect today. If CL has to placate their investors then so be it, but i just wish the investors or insurance companies would just face reality, get educated, and try courting the good will of the honest customer. In that way they might win the hearts of some would-be cheapo and prevent him/her from taking the easy and cheap way out of engaging in piracy.

I say go for P5. I'm not pleased with the security scheme, But don't think that is reason enough to pass up uch a promising upgrade. (Mine is on order) As far as Curious labs going out of buisness, I don't really forsee it but if so I'm sure there will be a crack. :p

I'm guessing that someone already leaked the beta so cracking the final version is somewhat irrelevant. It's really sad to think that way but it happens all the time.

I think it's pretty stupid too. as stated above any scheme they use will be defeated within days (Probably before The damn thing comes out) by pirates. So it only hurts us paying honest customers. I'm still getting it but I think it's a stupid policy especially when they have such rabidly loyal customers.

Maybe it's time for me to break down and buy Truepose... (Waits for Konan to pounce. :) )
