I just found a neat backup program called Winrar. It is a shareware program ($35 registration, 40 day trial) available on download.com. You can specify what files to backup and tell it how large to make the backup file. I tell it to make the files 620MB so they fit nicely on a CDR. I NEVER use CD-RW; out of the ten disks I had, all of them have failed. I unzip all downloads to a seperate directory, then delete the zip unless it is a file that I paid money for (I always keep DAZ's *.exe files). If the file does not have a good discription, I make my own readme file and try to include pictures if possible. Once I have a nice collection, I burn them to CD. I have two hard drives, one with just Poser and Bryce (20GB) and another drive for Windows. Using Winrar, I back everything on the Poser/Bryce disk to CD at least once per month.

I have both the castle pack 1 and the tower kit. Great products that are easy to use and render beautiful. Just wish I had not started remodeling my bathroom - it is taking too much time away from Poser! Looking forward to making more purchases in the future. Keep up the great work!

Thread: MAT questions about 'the adventurers' | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
How to use the Adventures MAT files 1. Load Michael/Victoria 2. Make sure Michael/Victoria is selected. 3. Under Poses, Adventures MAT, apply the subdividing material pose to cover all the bare spots with material. There is one for Michael and one for Victoria - don't mix them! 4. Save the file. 5. Under Figures, Michaels Clothing, select the Adventures Clothes. Make sure that you click the Create New Figure check mark (the double check mark). 6. Save the file! 7. On the Figure menu, click Conform to, and select Figure one. The clothes should now fit. 8. Test render to see how things look. 9. Save the file. 10. Under Poses, Adventures MAT, apply the MAT pose (Citizen, Noble, or Royal). 11. Save the file. Now you can adjust the lights, add material to face, hair, poses, etc. Hope this helps. Peggy

Spent 79 bucks in 5 minutes as soon as the Daz new release page loaded. My three year old keeps jumping up and down behind me as I'm playing with Poser yelling, "Look, Barbie"! As soon as she can mouse a bit better, there will be two Poserholics here.

Xfrog has a free 30 day demo. The trees that can be made are totally awesome (what I hope that Bryce can do next release). This is on my list of software I have to get.LVS - Where Learning is Fun!

I'm an equal opertunity spender. I look through the free stuff, then the market place on Renderosity, then DAZ. If I have any money or disk space left, then I go on to a few other sites. Peggy
